Dinner for two without a reservation. From the menu: They don't offer gluten-free options (mmmm). We started with a marinated salmon appetizer and a foie gras pâté. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, the portions were adequate, and both dishes were of good quality. The pâté was just the right amount of flavor, the marinated salmon was very delicate, and the whole thing was very palatable. We continued with their spaghetti with clams for both of us. It was mouth-wateringly good, but thickened with butter, which in my opinion was quite heavy on the palate. If it had been made without dairy products, I would have given this dish full marks. Nothing to complain about the tiramisu; it was a very good homemade single-serving dish. The service and wait times were very good. The atmosphere was bright and pleasant. The lady, I believe the owner, was very friendly and kind. The prices were fair, in keeping with the quality of the products and the atmosphere. We will return to try other specialties from your menu and beyond.

Highly recommended. We received a very friendly welcome. Our table reservation was perfect. Very good, attentive service. The menu, which has a QR code, is also available in English. A large wine selection, excellent food with perfect seasoning and a pleasant portion size. We enjoyed the ambiance. We'll definitely be back.

08/03/2025: Avevamo uno smartbox che includeva 1 pranzo (o cena) per 2 persone ed abbiamo così scoperto casualmente Il Molino del Torchio a Cuasso al Monte, 5 minuti in macchina da Porto Ceresio. Il locale è un vero Mulino ristrutturato ed adibito a ristorante, quindi peculiare per la struttura, internamente semplice ma carino, con travi in legno a vista. Il cibo è buono, piatti particolari e curati. Abbiamo preso i 2 menù degustazione previsti dal cofanetto Smartbox che includevano 2 antipasti, 2 primi e 2 secondi a scelta, 2 dolci e 2 calici di vino inclusi: antipasto misto di salumi, tagliatelle stracchino e mirtilli, 1 faraona e 1 trota salmonata. Per i bambini abbiamo preso 1 lasagna e 1 risotto non inclusi nel cofanetto. Soddisfatti per il cibo e per la cordialità del personale. Il ristorante dispone anche di un fasciatoio per bambini, che torna utile! Questo ristorante è stata una piacevole scoperta, da riprovare!
01/03/2025: Ho scelto questo Ristorante per festeggiare la laurea. Pranzo in un suggestivo locale tipico e accogliente con il Mulino di legno all’esterno che rende la location davvero unica. Fine ed elegante. Personale molto preparato e gentile. Scegliendo alla carta le portate abbiamo assaggiato diversi piatti, tutti di livello. Vini davvero pregiati. Tutto perfetto.

15/10/2025: Impeccable service, kindness, and helpfulness deserve a 10. The food is delicious and the prices are extremely competitive; it's impossible to leave hungry. The cocktails are also good, with a good selection. The only flaw is that the place is a bit small and can get quite noisy when full. If you're looking for a quiet or peaceful place, perhaps you'd better look elsewhere. In short, go there, whether for an aperitif or dinner.
