Discovered by chance and was satisfied, friendly, welcoming, and good food, if I have the chance I will stop again.

First place we went when we arrived in Besozzo and it was a hit. An absolute delight. I come from a place where seafood is considered a local specialty and still I was amazed. Especially with the "salad". Apparently salata in Italian means an assortment of dissimilar things not a mix of leafy things as in Greek. Anyways, that seafood "salad" was a blast of taste along with every other dish we tried. Way to go girls! Went in this cozy little restaurant twice and would have visited again if it wouldn't close early (according to Greek standards that is...). Recommended.

Our experience was truly exceptional and exceeded our expectations. From the very beginning, the attention to detail and respect for the Italian culinary tradition were evident. We ate excellent food, in a warm and attentive environment. Osteria In Besozzo is a choice that is absolutely worth it for anyone who loves quality Italian cuisine!!!

The atmosphere is family-friendly, very attentive, and the food is excellent. I really like this place and I love coming back every time I'm in Besozzo.

Dinner for two without a reservation. From the menu: They don't offer gluten-free options (mmmm). We started with a marinated salmon appetizer and a foie gras pâté. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful, the portions were adequate, and both dishes were of good quality. The pâté was just the right amount of flavor, the marinated salmon was very delicate, and the whole thing was very palatable. We continued with their spaghetti with clams for both of us. It was mouth-wateringly good, but thickened with butter, which in my opinion was quite heavy on the palate. If it had been made without dairy products, I would have given this dish full marks. Nothing to complain about the tiramisu; it was a very good homemade single-serving dish. The service and wait times were very good. The atmosphere was bright and pleasant. The lady, I believe the owner, was very friendly and kind. The prices were fair, in keeping with the quality of the products and the atmosphere. We will return to try other specialties from your menu and beyond.
