I liked it. Good food, plenty of it, and friendly staff. Very pleasant restaurant; it was perfect for my lunch.

Dinner on August 20, 2025 Located in the pedestrian area of ​​Borgo Campidoglio, a maze of narrow streets and low houses, this restaurant, whose appearance is more impressive than its menu (which is influenced by dishes foreign to Piedmontese culinary tradition), nevertheless retains the spirit of old Turin restaurants, characterized by simplicity and conviviality. Its appeal is lacking in affordability, with prices in line with those of many other establishments. The vintage furnishings and numerous bottles, beautifully displayed on the walls, contribute to the welcoming and reassuring atmosphere. Good acoustic comfort and a very simple table setting, complete with paper placemats, are other key features. The menu, written on a blackboard at the entrance, includes typical local appetizers, along with a small selection of first and second courses, but still sufficient to satisfy most tastes. The Piedmontese mixed antipasto, while not quite reaching the pinnacle of excellence, met our expectations; the caserecce with pistachio pesto and guanciale were al dente, well-seasoned, and tasty. Among the "main courses," I'd recommend a delicious sesame-flavored tuna steak (unfortunately, as is often the case, it sat on a bed of "dead" salad), while for dessert, we ordered a delicious profiteroles. The bread was decent, as was the bulk Arneis. The service was courteous and prompt. Although overall in line with many other restaurants, it somewhat betrays the spartan and down-to-earth spirit of the place. Rating: 8

This place, which is outside of the traditional norm, feels just like a trattoria from days gone by. I return often; it's a place that fascinates me precisely because it's out of the ordinary.

The food is very good, the bill is quite reasonable, and the wine is also good. The only drawback is that it's quite crowded.
