The restaurant is located among the historic alleys of Velletri, so if you think you'll park in front of the restaurant forget it, but on the other hand when you enter it's like entering your grandmother's house, a place with friendly people, good meat and the sauce of the rigatoni alla pajata is great. Genuine cuisine without too many frills with good portions.

Velletri should be brimming with trattorias serving home-style cuisine, but in reality, there are very few, and Medievale is one of those that have stood the test of time. A family-run trattoria, Signora Rita's cooking makes us feel right at home, both in the ambiance and the food. Flavors of times gone by. A delightful surprise. See you soon.

09/09/2025: The food was perceived as overpriced compared to what we had at other restaurants in Nettuno, both in terms of taste and execution. Some dishes on the menu could not be ordered as they were out of stock. Now we were there at the end of the season, on a Monday so maybe different in the middle of summer. Solid wine list, if you want to buy a bottle but only one type if you want to buy by the glass. The waiter was very nice and concerned that the experience would be good and the surroundings were very nice.
