The Il Gatto è La Volpe tavern in Vegno di Grandola is one of those places that you always remember with pleasure. The road to reach it is scenic and there is good parking on site. A kind and disheveled gentleman, Peluffo, welcomes you. The wife is the Queen of the kitchen. The food is Divine. We ate: as an appetizer a platter of local cured meats and cheeses that melted in your mouth. Followed by tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, with an indelible aroma. Then polenta taragna with braised meat and porcini mushrooms. As a dessert, blueberry ice cream and local berries. Coffee, bitters, and an excellent bulk wine, for a cost of e each. 30. We go back as soon as we can and every time it is always a joy. Advised

We were looking for a not so touristy place, to live the experience like a local. We found this wonderful bar, where not only is the food very good, but the host made us feel at home, he was super friendly and attentive. A 10 in every way! I recommend 100%

Our insider tip since we were warmly welcomed here late in the evening on the way home from Villa de Vecchi. We love the authentic ambience of the somewhat remote Osteria, the super friendly service, the delicious dishes with porcini mushrooms at very fair prices. Unfortunately we haven't been able to try the pizza yet - a reason to come back!

A good place with good and tasty dishes and well cooked and good pizzas. Like at home.

Appena accomodati viene subito presa la comanda per i bimbi e gli viene consegnata una lavagna magnetica dove disegnare. Fantastico! Cibo ottimo e servizio perfetto! Ottimo rapporto prezzo / qualità! Ci torneremo presto!
