We went to the Carroccio for dinner, I must say that we immediately had a great time with the welcome of the guys in the room. The menu is nothing short of spectacular: cheeses with jam, lampredotto, pici cacio and pepper and finally ricciarelli with zabaglione and vin santo. Really honest price, congratulations, it's really worth going to the Carroccio.

Not to be cliche, but this was truly the best meal in Italy. It had options outside of the typical dishes, and had very reasonable pricing for the delicious food. We had dishes with fresh truffle that were incredible. We had the artichoke tart with pecorino and truffle, gnocchi with cabbage pesto (~12€)and truffle, and steak with truffle (18€). The house wine was excellent. The desserts were incredible, especially the tiramisu and the dessert with the typical Sienese cookie. A free vin santo shot at the end of the meal capped it off nicely. Most of the customers were locals but they were very accomodating with English and Spanish. The kitchen hours may be different from their normal hours on Google.

A secluded restaurant with tables on the street very ok. I ate Pici al ragu senese and Tagliata con crema di pecorino e cipolle carmellate and both were very good, generous portions, kind staff and prompt service.

The best meal I’ve had in Europe. Every plate served was phenomenal. Fresh & delicious ingredients made skilfully. This place is special!

Accogliente, ci hanno subito fatto sentire a nostro agio. Taglieri di salumi e formaggi per antipasto, Pici con ragù alla Senese per primo e tagliata di manzo al tartufo per secondo. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo Brunello di Montalcino. Prezzo contenuto e Vin Santo offerto. I Pici erano favolosi 🫠.

26/11/2024: Estábamos conduciendo por la Toscana y acabamos de decidir parar para almorzar. Fue un gran movimiento. Tuvimos la bruschetta para empezar y poder probar el aceite. Era tan fresco y sabroso que podría haber parado allí. Pero seguimos comiendo y los dos disfrutamos mucho de nuestro almuerzo.

04/11/2024: While passing through Chiusdino we booked at this Osteria (due to the external appearance of the premises) which cooked good food for me and my friends. Careful menu (although perhaps a little limited in the choices of first courses, I was expecting more soups) with some Associations to review (like the artist on a bed of pumpkin puree). Good service, moderate prices.
03/11/2024: Very nice and welcoming place with a view of the valley. Excellent food and excellent service with very polite, helpful and quick waiters.
