Friday evening around 7pm: few guests, quite a few more during the next hour, lively atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff.
The starter was super delicious: boiled and deep-fried artichoke! As a main course, the husband ordered pasta with lamb ragout, which tasted delicious (14 euros). I had lamb with salad, the meat tasted nice, but about 2/3 was bone, the salad consisted of two half cherry tomatoes and some sliced iceberg, so it was a disappointment for the price (19 euros!)
Dessert: a panna cotta and a cherry pie to share, 6 euros each, tasted great.

Cozy restaurant and super nice service. Lovely food. We arrived at 19
30 almost as the first, but it quickly filled up. Artichokes, dressed and Roman style. Super. Oxtail with pasta, really good. Roast lamb, really good, with a salad that was sparse and simple. Tiramisu and cherry pie for desert.

Everything was perfect: friendly, helpful, and wonderful food. Perfectly fried Jewish-style artichokes, super-flavorful artichoke gricia, and exquisite cacciatore meatballs (their own invention). Then there was the sour cherry cake, and the super-soft tiramisu... a must-try! Honestly!

Truly an excellent, typically Roman osteria. Quality food at reasonable prices. I recommend the gricia with artichokes and the sour cherry tart. Another strong point is the hospitality, as the service is very attentive to the customer's needs. Everyone is extremely friendly and kind. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try a restaurant serving traditional Roman cuisine in the heart of southern Rome!

Scelto casualmente, da fuori non sembrava particolarmente attraente. Invece, all'interno l'ambiente è sobrio ma accogliente, il cibo ottimo e il personale molto gentile. Ottima esperienza.

For dinner with friends and colleagues we stopped at this tavern in the San Paolo district in a very quiet street with practically no traffic.
I wasn't very hungry and so I limited myself to just a first course, a carbonara, falling once again into the temptation to taste the must of Roman cuisine. All very good, from the quality of the pasta to that of the other ingredients.
The place is essential, the service is really friendly, the cooking is a little slow and the prices are average, almost competitive.
