Small typical Piedmontese tavern, in the historic center of Fossano. Few tables, simple, courteous and attentive service. Quiet place where you can taste Piedmontese dishes and taste a good red wine. Today, after the Easter holidays, we only tasted two first courses: ravioles from Val Varaita and ravioli with Bra sausage and leeks. Feeling pampered like in your own home!

A good Osteria with many Piedmontese delicacies and more. The owner is very helpful and I would also say a very nice entertainer and willing to do everything to make his guests feel at ease.

We went with 12 cycling friends, we had a very good time. Excellent food, simply perfect house wine and top friendliness and hospitality. The right combination is so much so that we booked again.

Un almuerzo sorpresa encantador. El restaurante es pequeño, con un menú limitado, pero todo se ve delicioso y mi copa de Barbera estaba perfectamente equilibrada. Personalmente, comí el tagliatelle con pesto (peste de alcachofa), aunque las otras pastas, carne asada y pollo eran tentadoras. Por favor, no juzguéis mi foto de pasta, me moría de hambre y consumía más antes de recordar una foto.😊 El inglés no es una cosa aquí, pero el personal toleró mi pobre italiano y todos nos las arreglamos espléndidamente.

Osteria, come dice il nome, locale semplice, senza fronzoli, ma con un tocco di antico piacevole. Cena con amici, di passaggio dopo una giornata di lavoro. Dovendo proseguire nel viaggio verso Torino, ci siamo limitati ad un antipasto misto ed una superba T-bone.. da ben 1.450 gr.... allora gli antipasti nel solco della tradizione piemontese, anche se il simpatico è cordiale proprietario ci ha anticipato che con la primavera, poi saranno molti di più. Salumi, insalata russa, tomini, più che decorosi ed in porzione generosa. Poi arriva la bestiolina... ben cotta, nel senso del cotta a dovere. Nonostante la dimensione generosa.. la carne di Fassona Piemontese è sinonimo di garanzia... con accompagno di patate spinaci e verza veramente buo i e ben cucibati, Vino barbera, acqua, caffè ed amaro.... conto circa 33 euro a testa... Abbiamo ripreso il viaggio, sazi e contenti anche dell'atmosfera come dicevo all'inizio di Osteria ove il formalismo non può essere di casa... Merita andarci se si passa per Fossano.
