Just outside the Rimini hubbub, this is a lovely little place, well-maintained by the owner for about 30 years. It's definitely a lovely place on warm evenings, with the option of sitting outside under the distinctive lighting. They say the pasta carbonara is good, but the dishes can be ordered for two for a minimum of two. The mussels are good, and the skewers are good, although they can only put three shrimp on the skewer, not two. The crème caramel is excellent, a delight worth trying, perhaps even ordering a second. Finally, try their homemade licorice.

Trattoria Osteria Grotta Rossa is a true culinary gem. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with that classic Italian trattoria feel. The pasta was homemade, perfectly cooked, and rich with local flavor. The staff treated us like family—friendly, attentive, and passionate about the food they serve. You can tell they care about quality and tradition. A must-visit for anyone wanting an honest, delicious meal in a relaxed setting. Can’t wait to return!

As always, a sure thing, excellent takeout service.

At dinner last night, there were 16 of us. We ate well, and way too much for my taste.
The charcuterie board was truly excellent; the tagliatelle with ragù was really good. I didn't finish the meat because I was full, but my family ate that too, and it was truly excellent!

Di passaggio a Rimini (eravamo in vacanza a San Marino) abbiamo trovato e provato per caso questo locale: una vera sorpresa! Ambiente molto grazioso, quasi vintage, portate squisite con un rapporto qualità/prezzo eccellente ma soprattutto la cordialità genuina della signora che ci ha seguito, e non solo servito, a tavola; ne citerei giustamente il nome ma, scioccamente, non glielo abbiamo chiesto e comunque è stato la sera del 6 marzo scorso, facile sapere chi fosse in servizio. Cosa aggiungere? Ci torneremo sicuramente passando da Rimini e lo consigliamo a tutti coloro che si trovano a passare di là.
