Delicious traditional Tuscan food with a warm, family-like welcome. We had a plate of traditional cheeses, delicious meatloaf with excellent baked potatoes, and a delicious crème brulee. Oh, and the tiramisu doesn't have cream, and of course, that's homemade too. Amazing.

Great experience. We come here every year for our summer holidays and it never disappoints.

Super friendly service. We spontaneously made a reservation for over 20 people and got a nice table inside. Service was good, although we did have to wait a bit longer for food and drinks at times. The food all came out well, which was great for so many people! BUT, many people had pasta, and while it was tasty, it was really small portions... you definitely won't get full from pasta alone. But with another dish and/or appetizer, you can easily spend €40 per person just for the meal.

Professionalism, friendliness, authenticity, integrity, quality, and fair prices reign supreme. I've been coming to Massa Marittima for over 20 years, and I've always been going to Osteria Grassini. It's always a sure thing, like when you'd go to Grandma's on Sundays. Here, you feel at home. The classic, traditional dishes are well-prepared, just as you'd expect from a restaurant of this type. Mary is an excellent cook who knows her stuff. Prices are displayed before you sit down, as well as on the menu, so you won't find any surprises; in fact, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the value for money. Based on my experience at both Michelin-starred and non-starred restaurants, this restaurant is one of my favorites; it makes me feel at home. Highly recommended, as is the service: take your time, enjoy your dinner alone or with friends, unhurriedly, savoring the food and good wine, and finishing the evening with an excellent gin and tonic prepared by Alberto. For my next trip to Massa Marittima, I won't need to look for a restaurant; I already know where to go.

We went to this place for the Florentine steak. It wasn't cooked well, but the quality was good. The cheese board was excellent.

Located in the main square with a magnificent view of the Duomo, this osteria offers excellent traditional dishes. The Cinta Senese ham is excellent, and the daily specials are delicious. My only suggestion: a slightly larger portion for the main courses would be appreciated! They also recommended a good local wine! We'll gladly return next time we're in the area! 🙂
