Good but… booked for dinner at 9pm I order the frico and… they tell me it was finished! But how do you do it? You are a restaurant that is known for the frico and you run out of it? It doesn't seem normal to me… in fact I think it's a very very very serious thing!
Also extremely slow service! Of course cjarcions are good but not out of this world the rest is average let's say a huge disappointment for sure!

Stunning location, especially the garden.
Parking nearby.
Sore point is the service and food and why not also the price.
Mixed cold cuts, what can I say? good, but how can you miss raw ham?!
Beef mince, small portion only with a spoonful of mustard, a slice of butter, crumbs of something, it wasn't explained to us what it was, and warm, not golden croutons, 14 euros.
Asparagus and crispy speck risotto, here too small portions for €15
Served on a frozen plate.
When asked for wines, I was expecting some more proposals in addition to those of the house, perhaps a wine list, we would have preferred a bottle to match but I chose a glass from those listed kindly but hastily by the waiter.
Basket only bread, no breadsticks and fabric-like napkin, cover charge 2 euros.
I repeat, the tavern is very beautiful, perhaps for this reason my expectations were slightly higher.
If I go back it will be for an aperitif.
I came to Udine on holiday and chose this place to try typical Friulian dishes.
I was very satisfied with the typical food, especially the cjarsons, ravioli with a truly pleasant sweet aftertaste.
The very rustic location was another strong point.
Fully approved.
