A bit of a hidden restaurant, really excellent and special food...
We ate boiled seafood and a pink shrimp tartare as an appetizer, and as main courses a very fresh mixed fry and a truly excellent octopus alla Gattabuia. Highly recommended!

There is an explanation of the menu with various suggestions from the owner .... very kind and prepared .... a cuisine with very new, fresh tones ... fresh fish varied menu .... the price for the quality is correct .... the owner very kind and precise in the bill with the discounted fork !!! we will return soon ... well done

The location is very convenient to the highway. Also recommended if you are traveling and have to make a stop. The staff is very friendly and the owner is passionate about his restaurant. The food was really excellent, we ate two dishes off the menu: vegetables and pasta with lobsters (very fresh). As a second course we ate the octopus proposed by them, probably the best way to eat octopus I have ever tried. The house wine was also excellent, perfect price!

Very pleasant surprise, simple and spartan place but very refined cuisine.
There were two of us plus our daughter, we ate fish (but they also have meat dishes): everything was very good, from the starter to the dessert.
Fast, attentive and very friendly service.
Outside the center and away from tourist places and of dubious quality.
We will definitely be back! Well done!

In my opinion, for two dishes of pasta and service, spending 40 euros for a half of complimentary water is really too much for the place, it is no longer a tavern but a restaurant but that is not the case

I recently had lunch at the Gattabuia restaurant in Albisola Superiore and was pleasantly surprised. The fixed lunch menu offered good quality dishes, in particular the lasagna with pesto and the veal with tuna sauce which I enjoyed. The service was efficient and friendly. Excellent value for money, we spent only 28.00 euros for two, including coffee and water. Advised!

Returning home after a business trip, I was advised to have dinner in this tavern.
Simple, informal and friendly environment.
I opted for the brandacujun and the trofie with pesto with potatoes and green beans and both choices turned out to be more than spot on, especially the pasta seasoned with a delicious pesto.
Very friendly owners and staff.
It was a great way to say goodbye to Liguria.

This is how you imagine an Osteria. There is only what can be seen on the handwritten daily menu. And it's fresh and it comes hot and fast. Clearly, this is no longer available for 10 or 12 euros, good quality must have a reasonable price. - Attached is also a look at the various clocks, but almost all of them are wrong.
