Absolutely spectacular. Excellent food, wide choice of local herb grappas, delicious desserts. Top service, competent, welcoming, helpful staff. If there were 6 stars, I would give them.

Domenica piovosissima. Cielo grigio. Marito di pessimo umore. Navigatore impazzito e ovviamente seguendo le indicazioni telefoniche piuttosto generiche del ristoratore parcheggiamo nel punto sbagliato. Ma entriamo, dopo una breve passeggiata sotto una tenda d’acqua dichiarando di avere la prenotazione. Ci sediamo e capiamo che avremmo dovuto essere altrove. Ma… che sorpresa! Servizio sorridente e ottimi primi della tradizione!tutto delizioso e un’atmosfera d’altri tempi, non avremmo desiderato di meglio! Le rape fermentate un contorno che consiglio ma era tutto speciale perché fatto al momento, il frico ottimo. Prezzi ottimi.

Always at the top...excellent food, as are the desserts. Prices well related to the quality of the dishes. The temperature of the room was a little low for sitting at the table, a few degrees more would be excellent. However, it remains among my favorite places!

Il Gallo Cedrone is a beautiful restaurant located in the historic part of Erto. The place is very welcoming, with the typical atmosphere of historic restaurants. Very good food, service not very fast but still compatible with the preparation times. The bathrooms are clean.

Authentic tavern in the center of the charming village of Erto.
A place that tells the tragic story of the Vajont disaster with photographs and written testimonies.
Excellent quality food, honorable mention for the desserts, small but welcoming and typical mountain restaurant.
Price more than deserved.

In questo locale si respira autenticità in tutto e per tutto. Capitati per caso, abbiamo fatto un tuffo nel passato e assaggiato tante specialità della cucina di montagna friulana. Ottimo il cotechino con le rape, gli gnocchi di zucca e i piatti del giorno come i canederli in brodo di camoscio. Ci sono piaciuti anche i dolci. Gestione rapida e di poche parole ma comunque ospitale, e conto davvero onesto. Insomma, un ristorante rustico ma verace!
