We had an amazing four course meal here! We are mostly vegetarian and even though the menu mostly incorporates cod as a main ingredient they worked with us to find a variety of dishes we could eat. The service was outstanding and the food was gorgeous. Definitely recommended!!

We had a wonderful lunch, from the mixed cod starter, from the ravioli to the spaghetti with olives and cod, we also tried the mixed cod both battered and cooked with oil and crusco pepper. Everything was delicious, we were served kindly and paid an acceptable price for what we got. Recommended for those who love cod prepared in any way

My family and I enjoyed lunch here during our day in Avigliano. I have never seen so many different ways to prepare cod before! Everything we ate was delicious. They offered a good selection of Aglianico wines, which are difficult to find where we live in the US. To top it off, the staff was welcoming and friendly. Eating lunch here was one of the highlights of our time in Avigliano.

Una giornata ad Avigliano, tappa obbligata per gustare il baccalà è l'osteria Gagliardi, ci siamo stati a pranzo, locale pulito ed accogliente personale gentile, mai invadente, ti senti un pò come a casa, il menù è parlato con consigli apprezzabili sulle porzioni e sulla fattura del piatto. Di quello che abbiamo ordinato posso dire solo bene, un ottimo antipasto, lo consiglio perchè è un pò il riassunto delle loro specialità, tra le altre cose, una buona parmigiana di baccalà. Abbiamo ordinato 2 antipasti, un assaggio di primo , che assaggio non era, ma una porzione normale di orecchiette con broccoli , baccalà e peperone crusco, per secondo 2 piatti di baccalà all'Aviglianese, dalla fattura molto delicata, l'olio fresco ed il peperone crusco completavano in maniera eccelsa il piatto. Per concludere, abbiamo mangiato bene, in un ambiente familiare, prodotti di qualità ad un prezzo più che onesto. Sedetevi al vostro tavolo e lasciatevi consigliare ne verrà fuori un pranzo o cena da ricordare.

We went to this tavern for lunch last Sunday with a group of 12 biker friends. Very satisfied with the various cod-based dishes, excellently prepared from starters to desserts. Friendly, polite and professional staff, good value for money. I highly recommend the Gagliardi tavern

Excellent! Excellent food. The cod in all the recipes proposed and chosen was truly delicious. I highly recommend it! Reach him specially! It will be a triumph of tastes! The owner is very polite and kind.
