We went as a couple to eat a slice of meat, I must say it was truly spectacular, excellent place!

Excellent place, incredibly tender artisanal arrosticini, fast and impeccable service. It's definitely worth a visit.

Sometimes great places like Frate Tac's Osteria get lost in the cold. The kebabs are heavenly, but they're served on a table not even set with a paper placemat. The tables are cleaned in a somewhat sloppy manner, where you have to put down bread and silverware. What a shame... a real shame. I hope the owner fixes this serious oversight. Otherwise, the food is excellent.

I showed up at this restaurant at 8:30 in the evening without a reservation thinking I'd find room for two on a Tuesday, but it was all full and they could have put me on the 10 o'clock shift but it was too late because at that time a show I wanted to see was starting... I tried again on Sunday this time booking by phone, I wanted to try the Pulled Pork that I had seen in a video on social media on their Facebook profile, but then... once I arrived they told me they only did it in the other restaurant in the center... -.- I was a little disappointed because the video was on the Facebook page with the address... so I had gone to the restaurant indicated without a doubt, never mind... I dined anyway by changing my preferences, ordering a superlative platter, and then an exquisite tagliata and a very good and delicate cheeescake, next time I must also try the pecora alla callara that I saw passing between the tables and the appetizing-looking arrosticini... judging by the other diners who ate them satisfied :-)

2024: It's really nice to enter the restaurant and be seated on the terrace, the place is really nice and provides a good atmosphere. The food was EXTREMELY GOOD, the skewers "arrosticini" were the best and I have visited different places in Pescara. However, I think they suffer from their own fame, I don't want you to think it's the staff fault personally but service was very slow. 2025: After a year, this place still has amazing food, Wednesday night and the restaurant it's full, again the service was slow and they missed part of my order ☹️

The food is traditional and the service is FANTASTIC!!! The dining room could use some updating, but the family atmosphere and the fast, attentive service make up for it.

Osteria Fra le Carte is one of those places that makes you want to return often. The arrosticini are tender as butter, cooked to perfection, and the quality of the meat is immediately apparent. The pizza is also surprising: richly topped, but with an excellent, light dough, extremely digestible, making it perfect for a hearty dinner without feeling weighed down. Special praise goes to Simone, the owner, who with his kindness and attentiveness always makes everyone feel at ease. The service is usually quick and well-organized; only on the busiest Saturdays can there be a bit of a wait, but that's understandable and doesn't ruin the experience. In short, this is an osteria worth considering for those who love carefully selected, quality meat, and not just that, at more than reasonable prices.
