Nice place, wine shop model with tables, even in an anonymous street. Many bottles on display and indeed excellent wine. Nice "concept" with fixed menus at the discretion of the kitchen. Definitely questionable dishes, both in terms of combinations (for example, putting a peated whiskey jelly on mushrooms makes the dish earthy and unpleasant) and as an idea and in terms of execution (risotto before cooking). At present, a cuisine that presents itself as refined, without great capacity to be so. Good raw materials anyway, a little wasted. Prices, very, high like everywhere else now.

Among my favorite restaurants in Rome. Magnificent food and amazing desserts. Superb tastings and a view of the kitchen that convey tranquility and professionalism, as does the management of the room.

We had a perfect evening at Osteria Fernanda! We chose the 10 course menu including wine accompaniment. Every course surprised and delighted us. The menu had everything you would expect from an Italian meal (pasta, risotto, meat, fish, sweets,...) with some exotic elements. The wines complemented the meal perfectly. The value for money was great. The service was also nice and attentive, and the atmosphere is very cozy and relaxed.

Osteria Fernanda was a fantastic experience, almost all the dishes were amazing, I still remember the mushroom scent when I opened the first starter. The freshness of the pre-sweet...
I must say that I was super happy with the place, the food and also the two glasses of wine we had.
Well prepared, varied dishes, with distinct flavours.

the tasting menu was nicely presented. the taste of the individual courses is personal, for me two courses were too smokey. the service felt rather unmotivated and not particularly friendly to me, compared to many other places in rome. overall, nice but no must.

Arriviamo un poco titubanti per le recensioni contrastanti lette ed invece...... ci troviamo di fronte ad una location ariosa e d’atmosfera, cordialità ed accoglienza senza imperfezioni che subito ti fanno sentire coccolato.
Entriamo e scegliamo il piano superiore proprio di fronte all’ampissima vetrata della cucina a vista che dà l’opportunità di vedere ‘nascere’ i piatti che di li a poco si potranno assaporare.
Il cibo e le materie prime sono di livello altissimo ma recensisco i singoli piatti avendo scelto un menù degustazione (artigiano curioso) ma i menù degustazione e la carta sono visibilissimi sul loro sito: dategli una occhiata e …..l’aspettativa che susciterà la lettura non rimarrà delusa all’assaggio.
Il servizio è eccezionalmente attento, la carta dei vini, anche se non ampissima, curata e ragionata con passione.
Il prezzo assolutamente inferiore a quanto meriterebbe anche se non ‘chip’.
Andiamo via davvero soddisfatti, con quei sorrisi che si hanno quando fai un’esperienza incredibilmente sopra le aspettative e che ricorderai a prescindere il passare del tempo.
E chi si aspettava ci fosse una ristorazione del genere in un quartiere votato più alla movida giovanile che all’alta cucina è stato come trovare l’oro in mezzo ad un fiume!

Cuando viajas a un país diferente puedes ser escéptico acerca de no conocer los lugares y su comida sin embargo ser de mente abierta es muy importante y siendo un amante de la comida honesta siempre estoy dispuesto a probar cosas nuevas y me alegra que hicimos una reserva en Osteria Fernanda , gran restaurante con muy buena carta de vinos y gran menú de comida de temporada. Decidimos probar el menú degustación del chef y dejamos el restaurante deseando poder comer allí a diario. Gracias chicos por una experiencia maravillosa, no puedo esperar a verlos de nuevo. BRAVO
