Very welcoming environment, you can breathe a nice air, the lady who served us was very kind and we had a great time, the pasta was really good and the pork was the bomb, if one day I return to Siena this will definitely be a stop

Traditional tavern just outside the historic center of Siena, a private and welcoming environment with typical local quality products. The only complaint is that the kitchen closes at 9.30pm and the cost of the service is a little high. Overall an excellent choice.

We spent an unforgettable New Year's Eve 2024 at Osteria Sotto le Fonti in Siena. The cuisine was a triumph of authentic Tuscan flavours, each dish conveyed passion and care. The warm and familiar atmosphere, combined with impeccable service, made us feel at home. An experience that I recommend to anyone who wants to celebrate in style!

Ci siamo fermati in questa splendida location dove siamo stati accolti benissimo… dall antipasto al dolce non vi era una pecca anzi tutto buonissimo e di materia prima freschissima Ottimi vini ….. grazie x la vostra accoglienza e per averci fatto sentire a casa ♥️♥️

You know those meals where everyone at the table can’t help smiling because the food is so good? This was one of those meals. From start to finish, every…single….bite was spectacular. Roberto is an absolute master with flavors and cooks meat to tender perfection. We were 7, and couldn’t help but share every dish at the table. They were ALL delicious. The cacio e pepe easily rivaled the best of Rome. The pork was an incredibly tender cut with a sweetness that complimented without overpowering. The steak was caramelized perfectly. The cinghiale with chocolate was a brilliant surprise. What a genius combination of subtle flavors. For dessert, the apple cake and tiramisu were equally dreamy. Eat here and bring friends so you can taste everything! :) Grazie and danke to Britta and Roberto!!! Your hospitality and warmth will not be forgotten! :)

Etwas abseits des großen Tourismus Trubels gelegen, direkt beim Parkhaus Fontebranda. Britta kümmert sich mehrsprachig um den Service und ihr Mann Roberto schwingt die Kochlöffel in der Küche. Man merkt, dass hier größter Anspruch auf exzellente Zutaten gelegt wird. Wir waren mehrmals dort und waren immer begeistert. Sehr lecker.

This place was a recommendation and we wanted to try it out. The food was nothing special. The portions were really small for the indicated price. And the 10% service charge fee is really impudent. Overall in Siena a fixed fee is calculated (which is disturbing enough) but here the more you eat the more service charge you pay. Be careful with the dishes, not everything seemed fresh to us and we would not recommend eating here. Anyway, we left the place hungry because the portion was so small.
