Osteria Enoteca San Marco In Venezia

The food was wonderful. It was the best Caprese inspired salad I had throughout my trip - with grilled peaches and tomatoes. I wish I had been hungrier so I could have sampled more dishes!

A wonderful experience. The restaurant is very beautiful, the decor more "modern." It may have less charm than some other osterias, but it's still very beautiful. Our dishes were excellent and well presented. There's a wide selection of wines, and they can offer recommendations. The prices are perhaps a little higher than some similar restaurants in the city. It's still a place I recommend.

Wow wow wow, Enoteca San Marco was just incredible. Recommended by our boutique hotel, we were very lucky they reopened after their summer vacation closure just in time for our last day in Venice! The menu was full of Italian classics revisited and with a Venitian twist. The chef’s creativity, execution, sourcing of top quality ingredients, and even the presentation were Michelin star worthy! The wine list read like a wine « Bible » in Burgundy, but there were still some relatively affordable and top quality options. The decor was equally beautiful, clean, and tasteful, with just the right lighting. We loved it so much at lunch, we went back for dinner! Would highly recommend everything we ordered: zucchini and ricotta ravioli pomodoro, tagliatelle with lamb ragu, vitello tonato, squid pomodoro, and the veal filet (!!!) as well as the chocolate mousse (!!!) and the strawberry « millefeuille ». Luca and his chef hit it out of the park, and it’s no wonder this place has been around since 2002. Can’t wait to go back next time we’re in Venice!

I had the most wonderful dinner here. The place feels very intimate, perfect for a romantic dinner. The octopus was delicious, ordered a second. Favorite restaurant in Venice.

We hadn't been back in quite a number of years and so our old favorite restaurants were out of favor. Fortunately we had recommendations from friends one of whom gave us Osteria Enoteca San Marco. WOW, what a fabulous place. First the decor is cute. Modern but comfortable. Service was fantastic. Very helpful but not pushy. Third the food was over the top. We started with octopus with cherry tomatos, olives and celery. Really outstanding. Then two of the specials. Sea Bass in pistachio sauce and Seared Tuna wih a wonderful sauce that brought out the flavor of the fish. To end we splurged even though we were full and had the Strawberry Millefoglie. If you haven't had it try it. So light and creamie!! Plus we opted for a Proseco that was delicious and affordable. All in all an incredible experience. Highly recommended!

Un poco de vibra y actitud elegante. El filete de lubina era mediocre, estaba seco y sin sabor, lo que definitivamente fue inesperado dado su rango de precios. El filete de ternera era bueno, no genial. Las porciones eran algo pequeñas. No se nos acercó en absoluto durante nuestra comida un camarero para preguntarnos si necesitábamos algo, incluso después de haber vaciado nuestras copas de vino.

Cenamos aquí anoche. Hice la reserva con antelación. El ambiente era agradable. El pulpo a la parrilla para empezar fue excepcional. Nos gustó todo lo que pedimos. Absolutamente volver si alguna vez visitamos Venecia de nuevo.
