Highly recommended restaurant. The food is excellent, high-quality, and the service is even better! The atmosphere is truly lovely, I highly recommend it. We had the sea bass tortelli with shrimp and asparagus sauce, truly excellent, never tasted so good.

We had a good meal at Osteria San Barnaba: nothing exceptional, but a good restaurant overall, especially considering how easy it is to fall into tourist traps in Venice. The food was good; our favorite dish was the mussels and clams. The polenta was excellent, fresh and well-made. The fried fish was average. The tagliatelle with pistachios and scallops were generously portioned and had a distinctive flavor: good, although the pistachio pesto was a bit too intense and overpowered the scallops. The coffee needs re-evaluating; unfortunately, it wasn't good. The owner and waiter were kind and helpful, and at the end of the meal they offered us a glass of sweet wine. An honest place where you can eat well without expecting any major surprises.

Excellent dinner in a slightly cramped room, but the food will make you forget the inefficiencies... the next day we also went for lunch... both fish and meat first courses were delicious and plentiful.

It was ok. Pasta not super flavorfoul or fresh, stale bread, and the service was a bit unattentive. They were nice and they did give us a free shot at the end of dinner! Also good price
