We're in Turin for a pilgrimage. I found this restaurant not far from our hotel. It was also recommended at reception. It was worth it! Friendly staff and a good menu. There were nine of us, and everyone was satisfied. The food was praised all around. We had two different starters and, for the main course, spaghetti with fresh truffles. These could have been better, though. There was only a hint of cheese, but a generous amount of truffles!!! Two different regional desserts rounded off our dinner, leaving us completely satisfied. We accompanied it with a red beer from the region and then a red table wine. Both were delicious 😋. Absolutely HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Very good food, very friendly managers and staff. I was impressed by the platter of local cured meats of much higher quality than what is usually served. You can find Piedmontese and non-Piedmontese specialties. The place and location are also beautiful.

Great discovery!!! A well-kept, welcoming and fresh Slow Food presidium osteria on the main square in a historic building. A smiling and professional team, and ingredients that you CAN FEEL on the plate. Selected not so much to say it, but to offer a REAL taste experience. The idea of ​​blending the tastes of the owners' lands of origin is also nice, creating a harmony between Piedmont and Campania that never tires. Very fair prices. Well done!!!

Found this place near the hotel where I'm staying, I was amazed by the service and the dishes, everything was delicious, truly the TOP 360°. I recommend going there because there isn't a dish that isn't good and then the staff is very polite and courteous.

Osteria in the historic center of Moncalieri practically on the main square. It presents itself very well, better inside with displays of slow food products. We ate a spectacular cheese platter, local and refined products. The gnocco disappointed me a little, bland and tasteless. The desserts are also good (I recommend the zabaglione and the hazelnut tiramisu). All in all a good experience at a high price.

Una recensione normale, se così si può dire. Quest’osteria non ha rispecchiato appieno l’idea che ho di una vera osteria. Si mangia discretamente bene, ma nulla che mi abbia davvero entusiasmato o lasciato il segno. I primi piatti erano nella norma. Prezzi nella fascia medio-alta.

11/10/2025: Set here with my family. Searched long for an available restaurant and I am so happy we got here. Service was very pleasant, and I ordered the tuna with ratatouille and it was an extraordinary dish. Very recommended.
11/09/2025: My 2 friends and I stayed at the Grand Hotel Sitea directly across the street from Diececento and we had an amazing meal there our last night in Torino. Fabio and his wife Enza were wonderful hosts and our server Andrea was also wonderful. The chefs counter is a great place to sit if you’re a foodie so you can see all the action happen before your very eyes! The kitchen staff is very good at what they do and the food is great, and the wine list is huge, so literally something for everyone! There are so many places to eat in Torino but if you’re anywhere near here, go lay them a visit, you won’t be disappointed. J, B and C

La Limonaia Food as Culture

11/10/2025: A dinner with light and shade at this restaurant. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the service was courteous and attentive, which is already a good start. However, the dinner was a mixed experience: some dishes were truly successful and offered balanced and interesting flavors, while others left us a bit perplexed. The problem wasn't personal taste, but rather the lack of clarity in communicating the ingredients and the logic behind the dishes. In a restaurant of this caliber, one expects a more complete experience, one that encompasses not just technique and flavors, but also narrative and a coherent approach. While I enjoyed some aspects of the dinner, I believe there is considerable room for improvement. I hope the restaurant can work on communication and consistency of the dishes to offer a more engaging and understandable experience. I will gladly return to see if they've improved.
10/10/2025: The overcrowded kitchen. Chefs and commissars step on each other's toes. Service with a very talented Manager who is left to her own devices. There are only the ArchiChefs, but the front of house staff isn't given the proper weight. They don't understand that by doing this, they're losing customer attention and most likely a portion of the operating margin due to lower revenues!
