Always a pleasant place. The food is good, traditional, and the menu isn't extensive, but it's very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is very informal. Perfect for lunches and dinners, even for groups.

Excellent food and attentive service. The only downside, for those who've never been, is that when they ask for wine, they mean the bottle; you only find out later. Regardless, the menu's value for money is a 10!

It's been years since I've been to this Hostaria, having moved to the Modena area.
I forgot how good the food was here. We were all 100% satisfied, from the starters to the main courses, and not to mention the tigelle and the gnocco fritto, all truly delicious. Even the cold cuts were out of this world. We'll definitely be back to try other dishes.
Oh, and I forgot, the desserts are OUT OF THIS WORLD.

The food was definitely very good. We ate well and would return. The tortelli were perhaps the highlight.
The price is fair: three bottles of wine, appetizers of cured meats, gnocco, and tigelle, a trio of mixed first and second courses with a selection of cakes for €40 per person for dinner.

Very good food, I went on a Monday which is one of the few places open. The light gnocchi were good, the tigelle were good, and the polenta with meat was delicious. The service was slow, but I noticed the waiters were inexperienced. Perhaps a little more smile wouldn't hurt, but I understand that sometimes the customers are demanding.

Great place in an old farmhouse. The fried dumplings were too greasy for my taste. The cured meats were not bad. The green tortelli could be revisited. The potato and leek ones were good. Service was a bit rushed, perhaps because it was Friday and the place was packed. The menu was recited so loudly that even a DJ couldn't... Needs to be tried again.

Nothing to complain about the quality of the gnocco and tigelle. I'd say they were very good.
Unfortunately, however, the service was truly lacking, or rather nonexistent. We even had to get up to look for a waiter to order more gnocco and tigelle. It's a shame they never came to our table, and after waiting and waiting, we finally grabbed a coffee and left.
Perhaps it would be worth hiring or hiring a few more staff on Sundays, and perhaps even taking a few more tours of the dining rooms.
