Genuine, authentic food.
A small restaurant, but that's exactly why you feel at home. Very fast service, you eat what's freshly prepared that day, and there's a wide variety.
Today I chose an excellent chickpea soup, and my husband had pasta with cabbage. For the main course, a crumbly provola cutlet and a meat roll with escarole.
Highly recommended! A place frequented by Neapolitans, not just tourists.

Osteria Donna Teresa in Vomero offers the typical atmosphere of old-fashioned, family-run trattorias. The atmosphere is very basic, and the tables are too close together. I thought I'd find all the dishes on the menu, but unfortunately the selection is very limited: a first course, a soup, and a couple of main courses. It changes daily. The dishes are traditional Neapolitan, and the quality is good (like eating at home), but the portions are a bit small.
That said, the overall experience didn't entirely convince me, especially considering the restaurant's very positive reviews. Prices are average for the area, but given that it's a fairly basic, family-run osteria, I would have expected slightly lower prices or at least generous portions.
Parking is difficult in the area.

This was my favorite culinary experience during my trip to Naples. I felt like I was truly in a Neapolitan home; the welcome was so warm and heartfelt. The food was simple but excellent; we would have loved to return the next day, but unfortunately, it wasn't possible. I would recommend this place to everyone.

The food is good, but you can't choose from the menu. They tell you what you're getting.
But you can taste the tradition in the dishes.

stumbled across this place by pure luck. We were there when it opened at 1300 (by 1320 it was full). Set menu (with 4 choices) fantastic value and full of flavour. Well worth going to but be there as it opens or you'll be waiting a while. Only a few tables.
V good value - 80 euros for four people (1st course, 2nd course and side dish), one desert and one large carafe of wine

We were welcomed in as soon as we stopped in front. The place is small with lots of tables, but we managed to sit comfortably. There was no written menu, we were asked if we want pasta or soup. After the first course we had options to choose from fish or meat. Both the pasta and then the meatballs were delicious. It feels very authentic and homemade. Altogether I can recommend it, because it wasn't expensive and it was a nice experience. My only issue would be that the portions were a bit small, so perhaps plan ahead to get some dessert after.
