We'd never been to this pizzeria before, but it was a pleasant surprise. The pizzas are thin, crispy, and huge (!). They're very good, in fact, we complimented them. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. After paying, we were offered a glass of licorice and/or limoncello, and not all owners understand or practice this little "treat" for their customers... It's a small thing, but it'll make me return, and it'll also be a great way to advertise the place.

Ristorante Pizzeria Capanna Bianca is undoubtedly a wonderful discovery, a fine establishment where we stopped last Sunday on our way back from our hike on Mount Ortigara ⛰️. Arriving there at around 8:15 pm 🕣, we entered and immediately asked a waitress if there was room for four people; within a few minutes, we were then escorted to a free table on the right in a sort of circular windowed portico/corridor 🪟 (this space is unique and welcoming). After a quick glance 👀 at the menu 📋, complete with various recipes from the mountain food and wine tradition, we opted for a first course (macaroni with smoked scamorza fondue and speck) and three second courses (Angus steak 🥩 with arugula/shaved parmesan/balsamic vinegar glaze and two unique dishes based on Tosella from the "Caseificio Pennar" with mixed mushrooms, grilled sopressa and polenta). To complete the order, we also ordered two portions of French fries, two bottles of water 💧, a beer 🍺, two glasses of wine (one white and the other Valpolicella 🍷) and, to finish the meal, two coffees ☕️ and an orzo. Everything was really delicious 😋 and served promptly by the kind staff. Definitely a good value. The structure's appearance is distinctive, resembling a large hut (hence the name), with a large, rounded interior hall surrounded by the aforementioned windowed portico. Of particular note is the beautiful fireplace located in the center of the main hall. In addition to a few parking spaces near the entrance, there is also a decent parking area in the field to the side of the structure. We liked it, so we highly recommend it.

One of my favorite pizzerias on the plateau. We've always had a great experience here, even with tables of 8-12 people. The service is attentive and friendly. The pizzas are very good and offer a nice variety of flavors.

I'm Unghiettara's partner. I apologize for what you wrote and I disagree. They asked us when we booked if we had dogs, and we said no because he wasn't supposed to come. In the end, however, we brought him, and they went out of their way to find us a seat outside since they aren't allowed in the dining room. They did so very courteously and quickly when they could have turned us away. They served us in 15 minutes, even though the pizzeria was full. My comment from a year ago is even more valid today!
The best pizza on the plateau! The welcome, service, and quality are top notch!
