After seeing the comic sketches on fb of the restaurant and the traditional Emilian-Romagnola dishes, we decided to treat ourselves to an evening of flavor and joy. You enter a single environment that already offers a sense of conviviality, objects hanging on the walls such as photos, snowballs, wine houses, toys recall a family experience and immediately put you at ease. The staff welcomes you with kindness. Tasty and fragrant dishes, but the green tagliatelle with nettle and grandma Iole's ragù are truly the best in the world, as the owner says!!!!! Beautiful evening! We will return.

A simply wonderful place. Small location (reservation is a must) and characteristic managed by very kind guys. Even the chef came out of the kitchen to find out if we had enjoyed lunch! The tagliatelle with meat sauce are truly exceptional... but the whole menu is truly noteworthy. Watch out for the portions because we exaggerated with the dishes and unfortunately we weren't able to taste the desserts! The eggnog inspired us a lot.. it's far from home but we will definitely be back.. and next time we will save a little hole for dessert! Well done, good, good

typical Bolognese Osteria, as good as there are many in the area.
Here, however, the difference is made by the nettle tagliatelle with ragù, probably the best I've ever eaten.
if you pass in the area, you absolutely must stop to try them.
Be careful though, because the portions are super generous, prepare yourself with a good digestive and a good coffee.

The artichoke lasagna is also excellent, as are the crostini with cod
I would like it if the chef made a dessert without liqueur even though the apple and cinnamon sorbet was delicious

Given that as a true Bolognese I know the difference between an osteria and a restaurant, this Osteria, which I frequented several years ago under different management, did not enthuse me.
Prices are definitely too high for good but not exceptional food (excellent tagliatelle with meat sauce). 9 euros for decidedly mediocre desserts (zabaglione and pink mascarpone). The guys are friendly and courteous but the menu is really a bit too pretentious.
I'm sorry you took it so badly.
I am not a food critic but as a customer I think I can say what I think without offending anyone and in this case I did not offend you or your collaborators, on the contrary, I only pointed out that the desserts were not good and that the prices were tall... should I perhaps ask your permission? After all, I gave it 4 stars, it's not a bad rating, don't you think?!
Try to be a little more empathetic and put yourself in the shoes of those who don't share your tastes and above all not to question the economic possibilities of those who simply don't share your price list.

I have been to the Medicina tavern several times and each time it has been an excellent experience: exceptional tagliatelle with meat sauce, a must when you come here, every other dish tried is truly of high quality. Added to this is the professionalism and excellent attitude of the professionals who work there. Super recommended, a lot of attention to the customer and the quality of each dish.

Oggi a pranzo, in occasione del compleanno della mia compagna, proviamo l’Osteria di Medicina.
Attratti dalle tantissime recensioni positive, entriamo con aspettative molto alte…
Che dire…un posto da tornarci e ritornarci.
Location molto carina in una location accogliente.
Lucia, il servizio dell’Osteria, molto gentile e attenta.
Ma parliamo di piatti…queste tagliatelle verdi all’ortica..le famosissime tagliatelle dell’Osteria; mi dicevo..ecco le solite recensioni dove esaltano i piatti per poi non rispettare le recensioni..una sola parola CLAMOROSE!!!! Ne ho mangiate tante di tagliatelle al ragù da buon Bolognese…ma queste sono VERAMENTE LE NUMERO 1!!
I gnocchetti gratinati al taleggio che ha preso la mia compagna erano ottimi anche quelli!😍
Abbiamo smezzato un pollo fritto mi ci ficco…e ci siamo ficcati veramente contendendoci l’ultimo bocconcino di pollo con una panatura incredibile con la sua maionese! Dulcis in fundo, è proprio il caso di dirlo, il dimondi rosa…una spuma di mascarpone all’alchermes con cioccolato venezuelano per finire alla grandissima!
Abbiamo avuto anche il piacere di parlare con Alessio, lo chef..una persona che ama quello che fa e lo trasmette tutto alle sue creazioni.
Da oggi si apre un nuovo ciclo..quello delle taffiate (mangiate per chi non è di Bologna) FAVOLOSE!
Non vedo l’ora di tornare!
