A must-see when I visit Siena (and I do often). A typical Sienese osteria, the restaurant exudes the Palio spirit from every corner. The owner is the son of the legendary Vittorino, a multiple winner of the Siena Palio. Typical cuisine with an eye for tradition and innovation. The menu is never boring and changes seasonally. Meticulously sourced ingredients, ranging from food to wine. Fast and friendly service, and prices commensurate with the quality served.

Welcoming place with friendly, polite staff. The owner was charming, and we enjoyed a pleasant chat after lunch. Everything we ordered was excellent: the charcuterie board, two first courses, and a meat-based second course.

Very good food, although limited in variety. Still, one of the best, if not the best, restaurants in Siena. I recommend the ravioli and carbonara. The desserts are no exception. An exquisite tiramisu and a strawberry syrup panna cotta (the one with berries) with an ideal texture and flavor. The service, on the other hand, couldn't have been better; very friendly and attentive. Highly recommended.

Wonderful little restaurant off the main drag, stopped in on our way to the station and enjoyed a half-carafe of wine. Linguine alle Vongole Veraci had plenty of delicious little clams, pici pecorono salsiccia was cooked and plated beautifully. Service was prompt, and we had time to enjoy a post-lunch espresso before continuing on our way.

Absolutely delicious food, charming venue and excellent customer service. I had the pear and cheese starter which was delicious, and then zucchini pasta with mint which was also delicious, followed by the crema catalana, with the house white wine. Perfect!
