We had dinner one evening and recommend it for the hospitality of the managers, the excellent traditional food and certainly for the price/quality ratio

Un buen lugar en una atractiva calle vieja con varios restaurantes cercanos. Lleno, principalmente con los lugareños, el sábado por la noche, así que reservamos para el domingo. Servicio amable y servicial de un joven con buen inglés que habló con nosotros sobre la historia y tradiciones locales, lo que hizo que fuera un momento agradable.
Tuvimos un plato de primera calidad e interesante de varios quesos Pecorino con una salsa de miel y mostaza, seguido de una media Ternera alla Marsala y un buen risotto de setas y trufas - este último muy sabroso y bien hecho. 2 cuartos de litro de vino de la casa a Trebbiano y un Chianti Classico, ambos sanos, agradables y de buena relación calidad-precio.

We ordered a Peposo, Tagliata Cipolle and Lattine and they were splendid. Fair price and special flavor. The only point is the smell of cigarettes in the room. Surely someone was smoking inside the restaurant.

Thanks to the train strike, we ended up spending an extra night in Siena, and had dinner Sunday evening here. Pure chance. But heaven sent. What a terrific experience. Wonderful, friendly service. Excellent food, specifically the potatoes. And speaking as an Irishman, they were the most delicious potatoes I've tasted in my 70 years. Special mention also to the matured Pecorino cheese, one of the most delicious cheeses I've ever tasted.
If you are in Siena, I highly recommend restaurant. If I lived here, I'd eat here every week.!!

We were in Siena for a weekend after a bike ride we stopped for a lunch break and what can I say…. This tavern was a surprise, the welcoming service and the truly excellent dishes.
The only flaw... the portion of my pici cacio pepe (phenomenal) was a little small.

The food was really delicious, we both had pasta. Also the service was kind and up for a bit of humor. Prices were moderate and they were happy to accommodate our dog. Sitting outside was nice. Just the traffic was partly a bit annoying, but this is something the restaurant can’t change. Overall good 5*.
