The food was very good, though overly flavorful. The owner was awful; she made guests feel uncomfortable by attacking them. Rude.

If you're in Pisa, you can't miss eating here!
The wonderful and lively Simona will welcome you and make you feel immediately at home. I discovered her thanks to a recommendation from Pisan friends. When I arrived, there was no room, and it seemed like there shouldn't be, but something told me "wait"... I waited, and it was worth it. As I was saying, Simona is super lively; her cuisine is authentic, sincere, and excellent... flavorful and just the right amount! You'll leave full and satisfied!
I ate divinely, felt at home, and had a wonderful time... so much so that I went for lunch (appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert) and returned for dinner!!!

An excellent place to sample traditional Tuscan dishes. The space is relatively small and has a very family-friendly atmosphere. Service is quick and the staff are very welcoming. The restrooms are tidy and easily accessible, even for those with limited mobility. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Pisa.

We walked in without a reservation on a Saturday night and were lucky to have exactly one table for two. The place is small, cozy, with a very warm atmosphere, like visiting grandma, and typical local food. The menu, written by hand, impressed us a lot, and the food was the most delicious thing we tried in a week in Tuscany. The tripe is a must, it was great! The lady, probably the owner, who took care of us was also great and impressed us a lot. Thanks for the hospitality and for the delight for the palate!

After many years, I returned to this osteria in the historic center of Pisa, located on a side street in Borgo Stretto. The menu is Tuscan, featuring traditional recipes. The food was excellent, and we were completely satisfied. The menu changes frequently, and I highly recommend it.
