Persuaded by Borghese and his "four restaurants," we try this fraschetta. The atmosphere isn't bad, nor is the welcome—nothing to complain about, Roman style! The appetizer for six wasn't exactly generous, but it was good. Perhaps something was missing.
Rigatoni with pajata wasn't bad, but not exceptional (a few more pieces of pajata would have been nice!) The gricia, or rather the guanciale of the gricia, is forgettable. The cacio e pepe, dear Alessandro, I'm sorry to say, I've had better. The tripe was good. The arrosticini....terrible!! As a "roastsman," I can say they looked like a bad copy of a skewer in a pan...half-roasted and half-boiled...too bad!! We didn't go any further.
My apologies to the managers, but I came in with different expectations.
The welcome and service were good.

Authentic Roman osteria in Ariccia
Warm, family-style service and truly fair prices. We tried the cacio e pepe, which was simply EXCELLENT... matriciana, carbonara, and fettuccine with porcini mushrooms and truffle... what can I say... 😋😋
Impeccable dinner!
One of the best osterias I've tried.
High-quality cuisine. Attentive and friendly service.
🔵 Highly recommended for those seeking true tradition!
A fantastic experience, we'll definitely be back! Best regards, Cristina and family 😊

We went to this fantastic Osteria on November 4th, recommended to my cousin, aka my dear friend Alessandro, who had been there with the four restaurants, and even the best Cacio e Pepe in the Castelli Romani. And I have to say he was right, not 100/100, but 1000. A beautiful, typical atmosphere where you feel at home, unique dishes beautifully greasy as they should be in fraschetta, but without taking anything away from the true, authentic flavor, an appetizer that was nothing short of superb with a porchetta whose aroma and flavor we still remember, like everything else, abundant and flavorful first courses following the Roman tradition. Last but not least, but because I want to say a few more words... The host was genuine, truly friendly, it was as if we had known him for years. The ladies and girls who were in the kitchen were masterful with unique dishes, I remember the carbonara, the Amatriciana, and that pagliata al 😘. And since we promised ourselves we'd come back, because we're very full and that really has to be enjoyed, the famous CACIO E PEPE and the famous donuts with that sweet and saucy wine are absolutely must-try. We won't miss it. Oh, I forgot, quality/price ratio, exceptional. A hug, see you soon.

The owner is very kind, the appetizers are delicious, typical of fraschette, and the cacio e pepe is really good. The carbonara and amatriciana are average.

We arrived last minute before closing time and they welcomed us as if we were their first customers.
We had a grilled beef steak with half a liter of wine.
Delicious and delicious.
We'll be back.
We definitely recommend it!

We were greeted with warmth, helpfulness, and friendliness in a very comfortable, convivial atmosphere. As tourists, we asked the wait staff for advice on our menu choices, and we were happy to have trusted them.
The quality and variety of the dishes were excellent, and the value was excellent. It was a wonderful discovery, one we'll recommend to friends passing through Ariccia and one we'll remember for our next trip.

My boyfriend and I just visited this osteria, and it didn't feel like we were walking into a restaurant, but rather like we were welcomed into our own home!
The family atmosphere is truly welcoming, and the food is delicious.
We ordered excellent bruschetta and beans as an appetizer, along with cacio e pepe (a dish intriguing because of the award, which we thought was well-deserved), and some equally delicious arrosticini!
And the surprises don't end there, because when we got to the cashier, we realized the prices were very fair, with a discount included!
We'll be back soon, thank you ♥️

I haven't been to Ariccia for years, so I haven't been to this little place for years. Whenever I go to Ariccia, I definitely go to them, and I have to say, nothing has changed: quality, quantity, price, and courtesy are all top-notch. Number one, and not just for the cacio e pepe.

I returned to Rome after many years abroad to say goodbye to my family. I discovered this place on Sky while watching 4 restaurants in Germany (besides the fact that Alessandro Borghese is my favorite chef and it would be an honor to meet him). I already saw the episode back then and said that Marco was a great guy, but I knew that one day I had to arrive here (after 6 years of waiting, here we are). Happy and lucky. I fell in love immediately. I left from Munich and came here to Marco, a genuine person, who dedicated his time to us. I had such a good time. Together with my family, I ate the donuts and I was moved. I went back 38 years. When my dad brought me here to the Castelli. Marco's father-in-law gave me a gift before returning to Germany. I was moved and sat down to eat, a bottle of wine that has immense value to me... a gesture that might seem trivial to others, but for me it was full of love. I'm proud to have brought my children here... I knew I was coming to the right place... and now I also understand how to improve our Roman trattoria in Germany. I was inspired by my eyes... and I learned so much... thank you for making me experience a unique emotion. Thank you so much... thank you all. Tomorrow we'll go back... but in my heart I will always carry you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart... with love, Nicolas - Branka - Nicole and Carlos ♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thank you from the bottom of my heart... 🌹🙏🙏🙏🙏
