Very nice osteria: beautiful decoration good , efficient and welcoming service. There are many options on the menu, offering traditional food. Our dishes were delicious. The restaurant was full so maybe reservation is a good idea

Woowww. Friendliness and professionalism in Aosta. Beautiful restaurant. Authentic and traditional dishes. You can savor every single nuance of the mountain. We ate outside, in winter it must be beautiful. Would I go back? Yes. The appetizers in the display case are amazing. Bravo!

I highly recommend making a reservation; the place is always crowded. Located in the historic center, it's certainly well-curated in its goose-themed style. The wait isn't excessive. The menu is truly extensive, starting with goose specialties and ending with a series of "pizza ideas" with unusual but excellent combinations. We'll be back.

Every time I go to Aosta, it's a regular stop for us. Excellent food, friendly staff, and a unique venue. Highly recommended!!!

An excellent meal. The menu has a good selection of local dishes. The carafe wine is first rate and good value. Unfortunately it is not dog friendly.

Trattoria Praetoria

14/09/2025: The staff were exquisite and extremely kind, welcoming us despite the late hour. Superb setting, right next to the Porta Pretoria. The food was exceptional, tasty, and plentiful. I'll definitely be back.
08/09/2025: This trattoria is a great restaurant, ideally located next to the gate of the same name and the tourist office. The interior atmosphere is warm and tasteful. Italian is spoken (and French for those who like to eat there). The service is impeccable and friendly. The well-cooked dishes feature local specialties. I enjoyed a Barbera wine from Piedmont, directly from the owner's agroturismo (digital the waiter).

Trattoria di Campagna

05/10/2025: We found it by chance during a motorcycle tour in the Aosta Valley, where we enjoyed the region's specialties: crostini with Arnad lard and carbonada. Everything was excellent, and the prices were reasonable.
