Excellent! They offered us a table even though we didn't have a reservation (on the condition that we free it up in 1.5 hours because it was already booked).
The food, service, and atmosphere were spectacular!
We'll definitely return if we return to Aosta.

Dinner on a Saturday evening in the middle of August. We were lucky enough to get a table for two without a reservation, and we were very happy. The dishes were traditional and not only, all divinely cooked. We left extremely satisfied with the service and the food, which was excellent. Special mention for the honeyed chestnuts and the baked potatoes!

Excellent. We had a trio of stewed venison, sausages, carbonara with fatty polenta... Dish for two... Uniquely delicious. Also vegetable puff pastry with fondue. 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋 If you're in Aosta and want to eat Aosta Valley cuisine. Stop by the family-run "Osteria dell'oca", very fair prices. Recommended.

The food was very good, but there was a problem with our order. They mixed up a dish with the next table—it can happen, of course. We thought it was the second dish we'd ordered (since it was very similar), so we tried it. After pointing out the mistake, and after the next table had also started eating "our" dish, we decided not to waste the food and just keep the incorrect order. Too bad we were later charged for the incorrect dish on our bill (an extra €3, which is nothing, mind you), but given their mistake and our accommodating approach at the restaurant, we expected to at least pay for what we'd actually ordered, not the more "expensive" incorrect dish.

Worth a try. This place has remained faithful to its prices and quality over the years. If there have been any price increases, unfortunately, it's not due to the management. Cinzia is spectacular in managing everything and offering delicious new dishes. Excellent.

We arrived at this place on August 15th around 10:00 am. We booked for lunch and managed to get a table even though it was the 15th of August. We went for lunch around 12:30 pm, as agreed with the restaurant. The wait staff was excellent, both in terms of service and hospitality. The dishes we chose, which were specialties—the bigoli with goose ragù and the stewed sausage with porcini mushrooms and fatty polenta—were fantastic and very, very good. The atmosphere was very unique, with goose figurines on the tables before service and everything else that made the atmosphere very pleasant. I highly recommend it to everyone 🔝🔝💪

Senza prenotazione accolti con gentilezza e cortesia e dopo due ottimi calici di prosecco locale nella visione del menu abbiamo deciso per un ottimo piatto di antipasti del lardo delle Valle con le castagne buonissimo e poi per mia moglie una stupenda Tartiflet al Camabert in Francia non la fanno cosi questa e spettacolare e buonissima buona la bottiglia di vino dell'Anfer che ci ha accompagnato durante il pranzo servizio da 10 più e trattamento da 3 stelle valida la scelta dei vini tramite il Web con il tablet approvo la novità gentilezza e cortesia di casa eravamo di già stati prima della pandemia posso solo affermare molto migliorato in tutto ottimi e buoni i dolci forse troppo abbondanti le porzioni ma se avanzi porti a casa noi sicuramente ci torneremo a scoprire altre buone specialità proposte Le Lumache alla parigina le avevo gustate solo a Parigi .
