A small but elegant and very welcoming place, full of newspaper clippings that give you a sense of the place's history, which is reflected in the dishes served. We had the pike with polenta and the pumpkin ravioli, both simply amazing. For an appetizer, we had cheeses with a spicy and delicious apple mostarda. The staff was extremely kind (and also very elegant!) and helpful.
We had a wonderful time, we will definitely be back.

A typical Mantuan trattoria, where we ate delicious pumpkin and musso tortelli with polenta. The sbrisolona was also excellent. Impeccable service and reasonable prices considering the quality and quantity.

We had lunch at this restaurant as soon as we arrived in Mantua for a three-day vacation. It was a wonderful start! Very nice place, welcoming staff, excellent and plentiful food. The food was very good. The price was perhaps a little too high compared to what we spent the following days.

A small place, but definitely worth a visit if you're in Mantua. Reservations are essential, as it's always busy. We tried the appetizers and risotto. Both were delicious, and the portions were generous. We also enjoyed the desserts and the moka pot.

We had a really good time at this osteria. We waited outside for about ten minutes for the 2 PM shift to start, but from the moment we walked in, we immediately felt at home. The atmosphere was warm, quiet, and peaceful. I don't even want to talk about the quality of the food, because it's everything you'd want from a lunch in Mantua: superb cured meats and polenta, delicious bigoli and tortelli, truly magnificent desserts in their simplicity, and a quality house wine at a slightly higher price than average, but that's understandable, considering that two people who drink half a liter can drink decently.
Anyway, thank you all; it was a wonderful experience.
