Very pleasant environment, welcoming staff. Excellent dishes, in generous portions as they should be in a restaurant that recalls the trattorias of the past. It's true, the tables are small, but overall it's a flaw that can be forgiven. Congratulations to the managers, there were places like this.

Historic tavern near the center of Mantua. Few tables, fast and effective service. We tasted a selection of cheeses with mustard, pumpkin tortelli with melted butter and stewed pike with polenta. All very good, but a special urination for the pike… exceptional

Located in the center of Mantua, this place is small but very characteristic, perfect for those who want to try local dishes. The dining room staff is kind and knowledgeable, the dishes are really good and plentiful. We chose the "peccati di glutto" as a starter, therefore cured meats, cotechino and polenta, and then continued with typical first courses such as maccheroncini with donkey, fettuccine with duck and pumpkin tortelli (the amaretto tastes a lot but the innkeeper had warned me, so I like them that way). All delicious and at a really fair price.

Typical tavern just outside the historic center.
A little frenetic service and a very crowded room with tables too close together. However, the food was very good: tagliatelle with duck and rabbit. Very light coffee made with mocha and complimentary sweets.
È molto difficile che dia il voto più alto,ma questo locale se lo merita!Una vera"chicca"locale piccolo(assolutamente prenotare il tavolo con anticipo)ma ben curato,personale gentilissimo e cibo ottimo!Che dire,provatelo,non ne resterete delusi!
In centro, a 5 mins da piazza delle erbe, ottima tipica osteria. Pochi tavoli, indispensabile prenotare.
Si mangia bene con i piatti tipici di Mantova.
