An excellent tavern, fantastic and abundant cuisine, it brings back memories of grandma's cooking... The fantastic place that really reminds of a style and an era of the 80s, I can only compliment it and recommend it to everyone

Fantastic meat dishes, first courses reworked to perfection, excellent location, all very plentiful

A special place full of objects everywhere, the menu is varied, very good food and super abundant so I recommend just one course as it is really hard to eat everything. The maxi cutlet is the best, but each dish is accompanied by an abundant side dish. Good service, friendly staff, honest prices, the only observation I would make concerns the payment at the cashier which is not clear where it is. I recommend everyone to go there, it is really worth it!

After a beautiful stroll through the center of Mantua, we headed to the outskirts to have dinner at this trattoria. It’s a popular spot, so we made sure to book a table in advance. The location is along a main road, with convenient parking nearby. Inside, the restaurant is divided into several rooms, each with its own unique decor. The spaces aren't particularly large, but they’re well organized and thoughtfully arranged. What makes the place truly charming are the decorative elements hanging on the walls and ceilings — copper pots, straw chairs, and antique furniture that give it a strong sense of character. There’s also an outdoor pergola where tables are set up during the summer months. The style is a delightful mix of traditional, rustic, countryside charm with subtle touches from the 1960s. The entrance is especially charming, framed by an arch covered in lush greenery that gently wraps around the doorway. Once seated, the waiter brought us the menus, and we decided to share dishes, since the portions are very generous. My lovely girlfriend and I ordered tagliatelle al ragù di capriolo, spezzatino di cavallo con patate arrosto, tartare con formaggio, and to finish, a tortino al tiramisù con panna. We thoroughly enjoyed everything — the portions were abundant and definitely worth the price. The highlight of the evening was the tagliatelle al ragù: rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. The spezzatino had a pronounced savory note that I personally would have balanced with polenta on the side to round out the flavors. The others at our table had tartare con formaggio e grissini like us, as well as rigatoni con pomodorini e zucchine, a tris di tartare, and lasagna di zucca. For dessert, they tried the torta della casa served with gelato alla crema. They told us their dishes were just as flavorful and satisfying. Overall, the food was well-prepared, hearty, and full of local character — made with fresh, regional ingredients. The service was kind and efficient, and the atmosphere was calm, relaxed, and family-style. All in all, the value for money is excellent considering the generous portions and quality of ingredients. I had dinner in this place in the Mantua countryside a few nights ago. Outdoors immersed in the scent of jasmine. The ambiance is wonderful, tastefully furnished with retro pieces, spacious, pleasant, original. The dishes and the menu? Well, they are worth trying 😉. Go with hunger. Cenato in occasione di festa di compleanno. Primi piatti con condimenti tipici locali e porzioni decisamente molto abbondanti. Secondo molto buono, nello specifico optato per Bistecca Tomahawk (per 2 persone), molto buona. Concluso con torta compleanno anche questa abbondante . Il locale risulta essere decisamente pieno, con molti tavoli in stanze un pochino piccole e questo contribuisce a renderlo carino anche se forse un pochino scomodo

Ci sono stato già diverse volte e so che qui si mangia in grande quantità in un ambiente particolare a volte un po soffocante per tutto quel materiale che pende dal soffitto sulle teste Alcuni piatti davvero eccellenti come il Dobbiaco fuso con porcini e speck e pure lo stracotto d asino all amarone che oltre ad essere in grande quantità era veramente buono tenero e gustoso. Un po meno la famosa svarzela che è risultata troppo spessa con troppa impanatura e quindi troppo unta. Grande si ma stavolta non mi ha soddisfatto. Anche qualche dolce è risultato un po deludente come l elvezia che non è la vera elvezia se non ha lo zabaione e risulta un po duretta. Il servizio ottimo veloce e professionale alcuni prezzi li ho trovati un tantino più alti del solito.Comunque nel complesso si mangia bene perché la quantità c è e ogni piatto si può mangiare in due, alcuni piatti però andrebbero più curati.
