I found it unexpectedly, the food was nothing short of exceptional!! Authentic old-fashioned cooking, like eating at grandma's house, both in terms of taste and portions!! The staff were very kind and helpful! If I were to return, I'd know where to go again!!

It was a sudden discovery. We arrived in San Gimignano at 1:00 PM. We were very hungry, so we decided to check out a few places online... but nothing seemed to appeal to us, so we started walking. Walking with our little dog, NICOLA, we spotted this little street and this sun-kissed restaurant. We approached, and the very kind young man invited us to sit down. From there, an explosion of happiness and relaxation. We all ordered white truffle dishes (we're spoiled), and I must say, we were amazed by every dish. FANTASTIC. EXCELLENT DISCOVERY, WE'LL BE BACK SOON.

13/03/2026: Too high expectations = a little disappointed... They had changed a starter without telling us, instead of a mascarpone cream with licorice & lemongrass they served artichoke alla giudea with mayonnaise 🤷‍♀️ The pasta that was a speciality for the evening sounded so good when he explained it turned out to be a regular tomato sauce with a local garlic, well...
09/03/2026: The food is good, and the staff is knowledgeable about both ingredients and wines. The place isn't accessible and feels a bit claustrophobic. Furthermore, the menu doesn't offer a wide variety of first or second courses. There's no Tuscan Chianina Florentine steak, only the Piedmontese one. Even the most traditional dishes are prepared with the addition of more modern ingredients and methods that distort the character of the dishes. Definitely not a typical osteria. Perhaps more of a tourist restaurant, with high prices. It's a shame. There aren't many other options in the area, so the choice perhaps seems a bit forced... I don't think I'll return.
