A gem in Tito's. EXCELLENT lamb. I've never had such good "rustelle" even in Abruzzo. The atmosphere is clean and modern, with a splendid view of the mountains. The house Aglianico di Lavello is excellent. Highly recommended.

At this restaurant, the mutton skewers (and more) and the meat are truly excellent. The sandwiches, first courses, and appetizers and side dishes (I recommend the Twister potatoes) are also very good. The desserts are unique and worth it; they're like soft nougat. The only flaw is the service; it's a mess when it's crowded.

In Tito Scalo, on the initial stretch of the SS95, near a small multi-service shopping mall with parking, you'll find the Osteria. In an informal yet welcoming and bright atmosphere, Giuseppe and his family-friendly staff expertly prepare traditional southern Apennine delicacies, ranging from Abruzzo arrosticini to Puglian torcinelli, made with a variety of meats and offal, expertly cooked and served in beautifully crafted terracotta dishes. The flavors are bold and tasty, and the menu includes stuffed baked breads (panelle), a few traditional first courses, stewed or sautéed vegetables, and stuffed calzones. A select selection of roast meats and platters, as well as a good selection of beers and wines. The desserts are a weak point... those aimed at the younger generations (caramelized creams of various flavors and spoon creams in jars): the grandmother's cake is missing (when in Rome, there's no grandmother). I would have liked some tarts or shortcrust biscuits with a passito wine, which are very traditional in the South, and sweets imported from the Alps... Overall, a good choice, excellent food and reasonable price. The bathrooms are worthy of an example: clean and tidy.

Top quality, everything excellent, very kind staff

Tonight I was delighted to be welcomed into this restaurant after they allowed me, my daughter, and my wife to eat despite my wife's eating disorders. The atmosphere is fantastic, especially the decor. The service was also quick, and the waitress was skilled at suggesting dishes even off the menu. The food was divine. I hope to return soon, because places like this are hard to find.

Excellent raw materials The owners were extremely kind and went out of their way to accommodate us between reservations (it was Saturday) even though it was obvious we weren't local.

The arrosticini are excellent, with various cooking methods. The rest is just unnecessary frills, although I was served some excellent cavatelli with cruschi peppers off the menu. On the other hand, the bruschetta was unacceptable, burnt, and poorly garnished. The prices are excellent. Again, stick to the house specialty and little else.
