Tourist taxes. Anti-nap benches. Turnstiles. Panettoni against movida. Paid Renaissance belvederes. Paid toilets. Martini terraces. Cocktails at 12 15 18 euros. Tasteless macaroni at 22. That in this dog world there still exists a place so varied imaginative human badass, five minutes from the station of a city that makes its “visitors” pay “an entrance fee”, is a miracle.

Franco and his mother are always ready to entertain very nice customers, not to mention the amazingly cooked eggs, sandwiches with porchetta and eggs, a delight.

The only place left in Venice where there are zero tourists and only locals. Please note, this does not mean that it is for everyone. Many people may not like it given the authenticity of the place. Let's understand who will come.

I expect it will never, ever be overrun by tourists. This place should continue as it is: for residents.
