The atmosphere was as welcoming as a soft cashmere scarf. The service was friendly and very pleasant. The entire menu was excellent, with a personal touch from the chef in every dish and excellent ingredients.

Ferragosto lunch, à la carte. Choice of five menu options or a choice of dishes. You can also combine dishes from the three-course menus. The restaurant's strong point is seafood, but they also offer meat dishes. Portions are decent, and the food is good. The only drawback is the rather slow service, but it's a holiday, so there's no rush.

04/10/2025: A true gem in the Langhe! A balanced blend of historic residence, modern amenities, and meticulous customer service! Excellent cuisine, 180-degree views of the Langhe, with some tables even located in the adjacent park (in the summer). A superb location (and restaurant) for the usual, well-known names in the Langhe. The property is one of the historic structures and charming hotels that no one would ever imagine finding in VERDUNO. Enjoy your stay and enjoy a relaxing stay!
14/09/2025: I just spent a one-night stay at this charming Hotel Diffuso with several annexes surrounded by greenery. It's tastefully and elegantly furnished. The restaurant is also excellent, and they even offered a revisited spinach risotto for a vegan friend. The plum sorbet is sublime. The hazelnut cake is the perfect zabaglione. Dogs are welcome and treated very well. The atmosphere is family-friendly... you feel at home. Highly recommended! The breakfast was also excellent, with local products and everything homemade.

02/01/2026: Exceptionally friendly service (I think it was the owner herself). The place was very busy, and she managed it all single-handedly while still being incredibly kind to all the guests. Upon entering, we were greeted with a friendly "Buongiorno." Truly lovely! The pizza was excellent; I've rarely eaten such a good pizza. Regarding the reviews about the high price: quality has its price, and when the service is also excellent, it's absolutely justified and very fair. If you're just looking for cheap bread, you're better off sticking with supermarket bread! Highly recommended!
