World-class home cooking! This restaurant is distinguished by its excellent cuisine prepared by the mother herself and its very friendly service. The dishes are delicious. The wild boar bacon and the mixed fish platter from the lake are outstanding. There's also a good wine list. The prices are very reasonable; we had a wonderful evening. A gem off the beaten track.

This restaurant is located in one of the streets of Intra's historic center, near the lake and the pier. The menu offers a wide selection of both first and second courses, featuring meat and lake fish. We tried the daily menu, and my wife the lake fish tasting menu. Both were excellent, well-cooked, and generous portions. The service was very attentive, and the owner was very kind. The price was more than fair for the quality/price ratio.

Metto 5 stelle perche 6 non si può. Carinissima osteria nel centro di Intra, a due passi dall'imbarcadero. Ambiente caratteristico e volutamente rustico ricavato da un antico stallaggio di cavalli sulla via del Sempione. Abbiamo optato per due menù degustazione pesce di lago, con piatti spiegati dalla gentilissima titolare, costituito da un carpione di arborelle, trota e salmerino, dal gusto deciso ma non invasivo, il sapore di aceto e salsine di accompagnamento non copriva il sapore del pesce, e poi un salmerino impanato e fritto gustosissimo e assolutamente non unto. Per finire un'eccellente bunette. Gentilezza della titolare encomiabile, piatti molto abbondanti e prezzo realmente competitivo.

Ottima Osteria, proprietaria gentilissima, disponibile e onestissima. Cibo di buona qualità. Molto consigliato. Si trova nel centro storico di Verbania.
