We went here on the recommendation of the owner of a B and B in Mantua. It did not disappoint. The squash amaretti ravioli were truly a Mantuan specialty. Wine selection was outstanding and service excellent. My spouse had the stracotto which he rated as a 10 out of 10. So glad we made our way to this lovely restaurant.

If you don't book, it's difficult to get lunch or dinner, but if you can, it's definitely worth it. Spectacular typical Mantuan dishes

This is the second time I've eaten here, and I'd say it's a confirmation. Wonderful staff and excellent cuisine, all just a stone's throw from the lake and the center of Mantua.

A simple restaurant, but with very good food. Pumpkin tortelli and bigoli were very well cooked. Delicious dessert. Very friendly staff. A truly positive experience.

An osteria where you feel right at home. Quiet and relaxing. We ate very well, served by a young waiter (Edoardo) who was very friendly, quick, kind, and knowledgeable, and we were satisfied. The only flaw, in my opinion, was the 12-euro quart of white wine per bottle, which seemed a bit overpriced (3 euros per glass). Well, maybe it's better to get a bottle. But beyond that, it's a place I recommend and would love to return to.

12/12/2025: A small but elegant and very welcoming place, full of newspaper clippings that give you a sense of the place's history, which is reflected in the dishes served. We had the pike with polenta and the pumpkin ravioli, both simply amazing. For an appetizer, we had cheeses with a spicy and delicious apple mostarda. The staff was extremely kind (and also very elegant!) and helpful. We had a wonderful time, we will definitely be back.

03/10/2025: Excellent food served with really beautiful plating…we had 2 little girls and we appreciated the welcome that is not always taken for granted in certain restaurants…elegant but discreet location…we will return
24/09/2025: We received a very warm welcome, and the dishes were all perfectly balanced in taste. We'd be happy to come back.
