We went to this restaurant for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was very good, and the service was impeccable. If you're in Mantua, you should definitely eat here.

We stumbled upon this Osteria by chance (just last night), and we were in luck. We ordered culaccia with handmade focaccia, bigoli with guanciale-pancetta and balsamic vinegar, horse meat stew with polenta, and finally white chocolate semifreddo with nocino cream (?). An explosion of flavors and an escalation of deliciousness! All washed down with an excellent Mantuan Cabernet. Highly recommended!

Locale molto semplice ma caratteristico . Accoglienza e servizio validi, non c’era nemmeno troppa gente per cui siamo stati bene . Cibo buono in generale, porzioni giuste. Validi anche i piatti della tradizione mantovana come il riso alla pilota e la sbrisolona. Siamo stati contenti, prezzo in linea con quanto offerto.

Pranzo durante un tour guidato della città; abbiamo avuto un menù turistico di tutto rispetto... Accompagnato da un ottimo lambrusco! Personale davvero veloce e gentile... Da segnalare il sorriso e la gentilezza del giovane cameriere Riccardo!!

03/09/2025: Very elegant restaurant, excellent food, very attentive and accommodating service. I recommend the generous appetizer of mixed cured meats and the risotto with porcini mushrooms, prawns, and saffron.

Osteria La Bottega

20/08/2025: A classic osteria in the center of Mantova. Pleasant atmosphere and good service. The zucchini tortelli were very good, as was the zucchini flan for dessert. Good value.
17/08/2025: We're staying in the province of Mantua for a few days and stumbled upon it last night by chance. Excellent service; everyone was kind, fast, and courteous. We were able to bring our dog in, who was immediately given a bowl of water from under the table. The staff was kind and attentive. The place was simple and charming, and the food was FABULOUS. I also complimented the owner because we truly ate very, very well. We ordered some typical local dishes, and needless to say, they were delicious... from what I understand, everything is homemade by the owner's mother... an exceptional cook. We'll definitely be back at the first opportunity, and I highly recommend it to everyone. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Truly excellent, congratulations!
