I went to this restaurant for a business dinner, requesting a completely vegan meal. Even though the restaurant has a traditional feel, they adapted to my needs and offered a wide selection of delicious dishes! They were very attentive and thoughtful, making my experience excellent! I highly recommend it.

My husband and I ate dinner here a few weeks ago. I love risotto so I ordered it as it was listed for €18. Then I was told they would only make it for 2 people at €36. Definite not clear on the menu. My husband graciously agreed to share. It came to us and first bite we both knew it was undercooked. Very crunchy. We asked the server and she said the chef knows best. She told us it should be to the tooth. However since I frequently make risotto, it was definitely undercooked. They did finally take it back and cooked it “to the tooth”. However it was tasteless. One of our more disappointing meals.

The truth is that the food was delicious, but the service was very slow and the portions were very small! If you order one dish each, you'll leave hungry. We went for their gluten-free options, but I wouldn't go back.

As the years pass, Osteria della Divina Provvidenza remains a trusted favorite. In the jungle of Lecce's restaurants, some of which are overly formal but lacking in substance, this restaurant remains the pinnacle of food, ensuring quality and satisfying a wide range of tastes with an interesting variety of dishes. The service is always attentive, professional, pleasant, and discreet. The atmosphere is relaxing and quiet, thanks to its multiple dining rooms. I highly recommend it.

We had dinner at this osteria in the quieter streets of Lecce's city center, away from the hustle and bustle. We ate quite well, some dishes very simple, others more delicious. The wait was a bit long, but the service overall was good, as were the prices. If I could make a suggestion, I'd redo the paper menus; they're a bit old and poorly made.

Servizio attento e puntuale, volevamo mangiare qualche pietanza tipica locale, accontentati con degli ottimi fuori menù. Antipasto mare/montagna e degli ottimi primi, prezzo corretto per un locale al centro di Lecce e dalle buone materie prime. Da consigliare

Trattoria Nonna Tetti

15/10/2025: The trattoria is traditional, small, and very welcoming, spread across two levels. The atmosphere is pleasant, although it seems the place is perhaps geared more toward foreigners. The dishes are carefully prepared and tasty, honest, but (perhaps with the exception of a few dishes) they don't impress with an explosion of flavors, despite maintaining a solid, traditional approach to cuisine. The cover charge (€1.00) is fair and in line with the type of service offered. The Antipasto della Casa (which was presented to us as a portion for two) was a bit disappointing: we didn't find a good balance between the price and the variety/quantity of the dishes. This could be an unfortunate exception due to the evening or our table, but it's an aspect that needs reconsidering.
14/10/2025: Our favourite trattoria in Lecce! Would highly recommend reserving a table because you would be extremely disappointed to miss out eating here! Always remember to ask what Nonna's fantasy is, we got extremely lucky and had a lobster pasta which was delicious.

01/12/2025: Angiulino is always a pleasant reunion! I wanted to introduce a close friend who lives in Rome to classic Salento cuisine, and I must say he really enjoyed it! I'll gladly return.
