It was a wonderful discovery. The location is very beautiful, characterized by star vaults and stone walls, also tastefully furnished. The cuisine is superb, everything we ate was of excellent quality and sublimely prepared. The tagliolini with tuna steak... deserve praise. The service is also good, the staff are courteous and efficient, as well as friendly.

We received a warm welcome from the staff who then explained all the daily specials in English. They also guided us through the wine list and helped us make a selection. We started with the melange of local appetisers (sea and land), and each one was perfectly seasoned. Our mains were great, too, and when it came to dessert, they were kind enough to serve a little piece of everything as we simply couldn’t choose between all the wonderful options. Kind, accommodating, and delicious—would recommend to anyone visiting Lecce.

Cozy place, helpful and knowledgeable staff. We waited very little after ordering, even though it was full, as it was a Saturday evening. The paper menu shows very little choice, but the off-menu was interesting as well as excellent. The only flaw was that behind me, no more than 150 cm, I had the bathroom door, which was almost always open.

Belle salle dans un entresol avec des voûtes de pierre blonde.Ambiance chaleureuse et calme. En plus de la carte on nous a proposés des plats du jour, des recettes locales. Service attentionné. Très bon rapport qualité-prix.

11/09/2024: It's not possible to put more stars, damn.... We have been holidaying in Salento for 7 years and Mr. Jameson is a must... it wouldn't be a holiday otherwise! The place that started out with a very "Irish pub" style with wood everywhere (which I absolutely loved), after the pandemic underwent renovations that lightened and refreshed its appearance. The food, however, has remained the same... excellent, plentiful and refined. They offer typical dishes from Salento but with that extra note that makes them excel over every other restaurant. The service is impeccable, with an elegant simplicity that is the envy of the most beautiful tables.... well, if you haven't been there yet, what are you waiting for? MOVE!!!! Everyone at "Jameson"!!!
