The penultimate week of August we stayed with my wife in a hotel in Castellaro, I frequented the Arma di Taggia beach, and I had lunch and dinner there....then I discovered L'osteria della braia in Castellaro where I was able to taste exquisite typical Ligurian dishes, and an excellent pizza, with acceptable costs in a very intimate and quiet little square under the olive trees, good owners who manage it with attentive and courteous staff.

Visit during mid-August, nice place with tables arranged in the courtyard in front of the restaurant. Very good value for money, the portions were right and the typical Ligurian dishes lived up to expectations. The only flaw if I really had to find it was the slightly inattentive service but nothing excessive given the high season. Overall I recommend it and will return.

We were overwhelmed by the flavors, the food is very good, a small hiccup with the course, otherwise it would be perfect. One negative note is the parking

The food is good and the setting is great. The prices are correct. Bad luck that day the service was very long but it was exceptional, the house gave us a discount and offered us a limoncello. Recommended!

Pizzeria restaurant in the village of Castellaro, cute, welcoming and honest cuisine.
It probably works more as a pizzeria than a restaurant but I would suggest adding a couple more dishes to the menu...I imagined finding some more gastronomy availability.
Service a little slow but friendly and polite staff

Nice and quaint place in a nice little village. Good and well presented food.
Negative notes: we were seated after booking in a semi-open smoking area, fortunately promptly resolved but if the place had been full, we would probably have had to stay there and for non-smokers it is really unpleasant.
Placemats on the table, but given that the choice is at least disposable paper as they are a little greasy.
Parking very difficult. Definitely not a place suitable for people with reduced mobility.
It would have been nice to have a very short presentation from the house starter.

Good quality food but ravioli too spicy and salty.
On the veranda where there is passage in any case, a smoking area has been provided which is not pleasant for those who cannot tolerate it or suffer from asthma.
