I have to say that every time we go with family, the food is good. Last night, I wasn't convinced by a cured meat, which I mistook for prosciutto... when it wasn't. Normally, you know what a prosciutto is by now... I'll try again... ..

Truly succulent and excellent quality food. The ladies are truly sweet and take their time but do things well. Entering the restaurant has a real osteria feel, and the constant refills of bread and the dishes served really do it justice.

At the end of a bike tour from north to south of Italy that between lunch and dinner introduced me to 26 osterias/restaurants... Osteria della Bassa absolutely deserves the top step of the podium both for the quality of the food and for the quality/price ratio... I absolutely must return!!

A family-friendly and welcoming place. Friendly and helpful staff. Food made with fresh, well-cooked ingredients. Very generous portions. Delicious tagliatelle. The platter also features excellent cured meats and is plentiful. At the end of lunch, I tried the sbrisolona...excellent, the best.

Food --> fresh and high quality ingredients. Service --> fantastic, with friendly and kind staff, ready to respond to the customer's needs. Sometimes, with a heavy workload, the waiting times could increase, but nothing too exaggerated. Ambience --> welcoming and quiet, a bit like being at home.

… per trovare un ristorante che facesse le razioni come si deve! E che gusti, e che cura, e che gentilezza! Personalmente ho preso gli gnocchi e l’antipasto di giardiniera. Davvero mooolto buoni! Merita deviazione se si è nei paraggi. Prezzi ragionevoli. Complimenti!

Osteria che rammenta i tempi che furono con una delle sale con le pareti rosse che ricordano le case godereccie anche se qui il piacere si rivolge giosamemente e rigorosamente all'ugola.L'ambiente è semplice lindo e ordinato, i titolari persone assai affabili come tutto il personale,una nota di rilievo a Jena che ha curato il nostro servizio con garbo e grazia.Il nostro desinare;un dovizioso tagliere di ottimi salumi misti copagnati da 2 tipi di mostarda.2 primi esageratamente generosi e buoni,passatelli in brodo e risotto con radicchio rosso e Zola.Un secondo a nessuno ed apprezzatissimo guancialino con polenta.Come dessert un tartufo al caffè ☕️ e un sorbetto al limone.La parte beverina s'e affidata a 1/2 litro di buon vino 🍷 rosso della casa ed una bottiglia d'acqua potabile.Al commiato ci sono stati gentilmente offerti 2 liquorini al limoncello.Conto totale e probo di 75 euro.A Dio piacendo arrivederci e grazie...

08/09/2025: We visited Nuovo Epokale and were truly satisfied. The restaurant looks great from the outside, with a welcoming atmosphere that continues inside: spacious rooms, exposed-beam ceilings, and thoughtful decor that immediately puts you at ease. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with courtesy and a glass of bubbly, a simple but always appreciated gesture. For our appetizer, we tried tomato bruschetta, fresh and tasty, a perfect start to dinner. My wife and I then chose two different dishes: shrimp skewers wrapped in pancetta, beautifully grilled and flavorful, accompanied by caramelized onions; a tagliata with mushrooms, tender and perfectly cooked, served with a baked potato stuffed with cheese: a hearty and very tasty dish. The portions are generous, the quality of the ingredients is evident, and the prices are more than fair for what is served. What's more, the chalkboard with witty phrases at the entrance made us smile: a touch of irony that makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. In short: excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and fair prices. Definitely a place to return to and one we recommend to anyone looking for an evening of good food without breaking the bank.
