We went for lunch.
A casual place. We recommend making a reservation.
As for the food, I have to say it was very good; the tagliatelle with truffle and sausage was delicious. The cheeses were also excellent, although the prosciutto was a bit young, while the coppa and salami were delicious.
Tagliatelle with venison ragù, I have to say, had a bit of ragù, but it was good.
The chocolate salami was decent; I wasn't crazy about it.
The waiters were kind but not very attentive; we had to ask for the same things because they'd forgotten them.
Overall, I have to say it was decent, but the food was truly worth it.
Excellent value for money.
I just recommend paying a little more attention to the ambiance, which is a bit chaotic, and being more careful with your orders.

A wonderful osteria! The food was incredibly plentiful, everything! For six people, we had two cured meat appetizers, which were incredibly generous (and almost left over), and the first courses were delicious, especially the radicchio and gorgonzola risotto, which was a delight.
Truly a fantastic discovery, I'll be back!

Chosen by chance, mostly because of its proximity to where we were, we were pleasantly surprised! The culatta appetizer with truffles and mixed cured meats was superb, the porcini mushroom ravioli and tagliatelle with hare ragù were excellent!! It will definitely be a regular stop again when we're in the area! I'm only posting the photo of the tagliatelle because the rest was literally devoured...

Excellent first courses, but the second courses could be improved. The waiter was very kind. If there are a lot of people in the dining room, it can get very noisy. Generous dishes, fair prices. Well done!

Family lunch at this osteria. We had a wonderful meal, including tagliatelle with wild boar ragudi and tagliatelle with truffle. The appetizers were excellent, including the giardiniera (pickled vegetables), and especially the spicy goat ricotta, which was a huge hit. We'll definitely try the other dishes. We were very satisfied and highly recommended.

A memorable lunch in a place steeped in history.
Lunch at Osteria Della Bassa was a truly exceptional experience. The restaurant, located at Via Dante Alighieri 66 in Casalmaggiore, welcomes guests within centuries-old walls that tell the story of the area and immediately exude an authentic and warm atmosphere, reminiscent of true osterias of yesteryear.
The cuisine is deeply traditional, carefully crafted and made with top-quality ingredients, which are clearly evident from the first bite. I enjoyed the homemade tagliatelle with wild boar sauce, simply extraordinary: perfect pasta, intense and balanced flavor, the kind that lingers in the memory. The roast beef was also excellent, tender and perfectly cooked.
The portions are particularly commendable, truly generous: a pleasure for the palate and the mood. I can only suggest future guests try the tagliatelle with fresh truffle, which promises to be another highlight of the menu.
All this is complemented by an extremely kind, helpful, and attentive staff, capable of making you feel immediately at home.
I jokingly recommend (but not too much!) bringing a hearty appetite, because generosity is the order of the day here. An authentic osteria, where tradition still lives on and is served with passion. I'll definitely be back!
