                I took my dad, a true Neapolitan, to try a true Piacenza lunch... and we were both thrilled! Everything was truly delicious: from the traditional cured meats to the fantastic tortelli con la coda, from the mushroom flan with cream of mushrooms and fried cardoncello mushrooms to the cheeses accompanied by an excellent mustard. The wine selection was also good. Friendly service and a welcoming atmosphere: a place where you can feel the passion for local cuisine.                 We were in Piacenza on business. We called and made a reservation. Very friendly staff. Fast service. Menu features traditional and non-traditional dishes. We ordered a charcuterie board with giardiniera (pickled vegetables), a cheese board with mustards, a potato tart with Taleggio cream, and two plates of traditional Piacenza ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach, dressed with butter and sage. All washed down with a half-liter of Bonarda from the Piacenza hills. Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was quiet, and there was on-site parking.                 Very nice place, with very kind and helpful staff.
The fried gnocco was excellent, served with quality cured meats and a delicious gorgonzola cream.
The sirloin was a bit tough...what a shame.
The lean caramels with butter and sage were excellent.

                Mi ha fatto piacere l’atmosfera rilassata, con un giardino ben curato e un interno rustico ma accogliente. Il personale è stato molto gentile e disponibile, sempre sorridente. 
Ho ordinato un tagliere di salumi locali col gnocco fritto: friabile e saporito, accompagnato da salumi ben stagionati. Poi ho assaggiato le seppie all’amatriciana (foto) 
Tartare con coppa croccante molto gustosa.
Tiramisù come piace a me ricco di mascarpone!
Il locale è fuori dal centro, ma facilmente raggiungibile in auto. 
In sintesi: cucina di territorio, servizio cortese e ambiente autentico. Non aspettarti fine dining, ma qualità e un prezzo giusto sui 40 € a persona.

                Mi sono fermata qui con un'amica per un pranzo veloce infrasettimanale. 
Il personale super gentile e accogliente, peccato per il conto salato. 
A pranzo non è possibile spendere 30 euro a testa per un antipasto di salumi diviso in 2, un piatto di tagliolini al pomodoro e una sbrisolona divisa in 2.
