Excellent tavern in the historic center of Gallipoli. Tidy and welcoming environment, super dishes! The managers, friendly and professional, know the dishes well and offer solutions in case of intolerances. Fantastic tasting menu! The 5 appetizers offer the opportunity to taste different recipes and all excellent. Tasty first and second courses and abundant dishes. Excellent wine!

Absolutely the best restaurant in all of Gallipoli! I highly recommend it to everyone!!! Here I tasted the best fish in all of Puglia! (maybe even in my entire life) Finally, real fresh fish cooked with mastery!! I recommend the tasting menu: there are 2 options: (from €30 with 5 appetizers (sublime), a first course or a second course or from €38 where you can taste 5 appetizers, a first course and a second course) The appetizers were one better than the other! Both the penne al cartoccio with fish and the pasta with fresh clams with zucchini sauce were phenomenal! What can I say about the fried food...something excellent!! Last year they obtained the Certificate of Excellence!! And they deserve it!! The amberjack fillets with burrata were also delicious, amazing!!!! All served with a great rosé wine! A memorable dinner that will remain in my fondest memories. Federico is an excellent host who loves his job so much. When he describes his dishes, all his passion comes through! His mother is also a force of nature! A round of applause also goes to Rocco, prepared, kind and thoughtful. What can I say... Heartfelt compliments for your raw materials of excellent quality and compliments for the care, attention and love that you transmit in every dish. I wish you all the success in the world!!!!

The best fish dinner in my trip to Salento. Very good.

The food was really good and the service was very friendly. My husband had the tasting menu and aside from a few small items everything was delicious. The shrimp plate was only so so, but the mixed seafood pasta was delicious. Also started with 1 glass of wine instead of a bottle, but once it jumped to 3 glasses they just gave the bottle and said it’s cheaper this way so enjoy, which was nice that they weren’t trying to over charge. Costs weren’t bad especially for the portion sizes.

I came across this restaurant only by chance. Walking down the little street in the old town to go to another place. I met a dear friend who categorically advised me to turn around and go into Ristorante del Vico. A whole different story, he said. Quiet, traditional place, without any frills. I spoke to the owner, Federico, and proceeded with a standard lunch, house appetizer, mixed fish with the addition of some exquisite raw shrimp. I proceeded with a classic discounted menu, linguine with clams. Already full but I wanted to understand more and asked for a simple and banal fried food. I didn't take photos, as I usually do, precisely because they probably wouldn't have made the news since they were classic and discounted dishes. And instead I can assure you that I have rarely had the pleasure of tasting dishes that are discounted but so authentic and rich in flavor and tradition. Nothing simple or discounted, on the contrary. I highly recommend it from the point of view of quality but also of honest price.

Capito in questo ristorante solo per caso. Percorrendo la stradina del centro storico per recarmi in altro locale. Incontro un caro amico il quale mi consiglia categoricamente di fare dietro frunt ed entrare nel Ristorante del Vico. Tutta un’altra storia, dice. Locale tranquillo, tradizionale, senza grandi fronzoli. Mi confronto con il titolare, Federico, e procedo con un pranzo standard, antipasto della casa, misto pesce con aggiunta di alcuni squisiti gamberi crudi. Procedo con un classico menu scontato, una linguina alle vongole. Già sazio ma voglio capire di più e chiedo una semplice e banale frittura. Non ho fatto foto, come mio solito, proprio perché probabilmente non avrebbero fatto notizia trattandosi di pietanze classiche e scontate. Ed invece posso assicurare che poche volte ho avuto il piacere di assaporare dei piatti si scontati ma tanto autentici e ricchi di sapore e tradizione. Nulla di semplice né dí scontato, anzi. Lo consiglio vivamente dal punto di vista della qualità ma anche del prezzo onesto.

Consiglio vivamente questo posto se il vostro desiderio è quello di mangiare ottimo pesce e sentirvi a casa. Dall’ antipasto al dolce tutto buonissimo e di ottima qualità, si percepisce da ogni piatto la dedizione e la cura dei dettagli. Grande disponibilità di vini. Servizio impeccabile. Ho potuto conoscere il proprietario, Federico, persona molto cordiale che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa. Qualità / prezzo a mio parere senza eguali in zona. Da provare!
