Osteria del Vergante In Invorio

The coffee made with a moka pot is a nice place. It surprised me very positively.

We returned to the restaurant, and I'll reiterate what I'd already said. They're friendly and make you feel at ease right away. The first courses are excellent, as are the second courses. Don't miss out on dessert. Good value for money. Nice selection of wines. I recommend it.

Highly recommended, the food is delicious and top-quality, and the service is excellent, with helpful and friendly staff. The only thing I didn't like was the coffee, which wasn't espresso, probably made with a moka pot, but that's just my personal preference. Keep up the good work, and see you soon.

Christmas lunch. Everything was perfect!

In Watson and I's new gastronomic exploration, we ventured to Invorio, where we discovered Osteria del Vergante, a medium-sized establishment where the watchword is "simplicity": in the familiar yet attentive service, in the classic yet meticulously crafted furnishings, in the traditional yet carefully prepared dishes. The hospitality, like the kitchen brigade, is entirely family-run, and when you sit around one of the tables at Osteria del Vergante, you feel a little part of it, even though the service is always impeccable. We're served a small entrée and then begin with the warm antipasto of cotechino and marzipan accompanied by pepper, tomato, and fondue sauces: a pleasant discovery. We continue with tagliatelle with mushrooms: superb, al dente with flavorful but not greasy mushrooms. We finish with a stewed ganascino and polenta, again a novelty compared to the always delicious stracotto. To finish, a moka pot of coffee, much to Watson's delight and my despair (for me, coffee means espresso!). With a bottle and a half bottle of Teo Costa's Dolcetto Trifulot, plus a bottle of mineral water, we spent €150 between the two of us. For those who love traditional cuisine in a clean, relaxing environment, Osteria del Vergante is the place for you.

Superb dishes at fair prices! While passing through Lake Maggiore, we were fortunate enough to have lunch at this lovely Osteria, which accommodated our every need, welcoming our family with a little girl under 2.

Very comfortable atmosphere. The kitchen has been a bit run down in the last couple of years.
