Excellent trattoria, the best in the entire province of Pavia, super friendly and courteous owners, the food is divine, try going there and you won't regret it, I highly recommend it to everyone

Rustic...but sincere. Of course I wouldn't go back...nor would I go with my partner. OLD place even in the smell! But I really liked the dishes I took!

Claudia è lei in cucina e con suo fratello Massimo l'Oste hanno creato dal nulla un vero capolavoro. Claudia quando esce dalla sua cucina per portare i suoi piatti della tradizione ai convitati si illumina la sala per il suo sorriso e quegli occhi scuri così raggianti. D'altro canto Massimo incanta con la sua bella parlata spigliata. Questa Osteria è una perla rara. È un vero gioiello per Casteggio e non solo. Lo è per tutto il territorio. Cucina della loro tradizione. Cucina che purtroppo non esiste più se non dall'Osteria del Vecio Alpin! Avanti Signori venite in tanti!

We found ourselves passing through this very simple place but with kind and friendly service. Excellent quality of food, not easy to find these days.... surely when we pass through the area it will be worth repeating.... I recommend it to people who don't care about appearance but about substance..... Prices within everyone's reach. Thank you so much 👍👏👏👏

I was finally able to return.. Great friendly place. Kind and friendly staff. I ate very well.. Cheese polenta.. Excellent wine.. Homemade desserts.. Excellent rating. I recommend.

TOP ! Accoglienza speciale , cibo preparato con attenzione e con ingredienti di qualità . I tortelli di zucca e gorgonzola da mettersi a piangere quanto erano buoni , così come la polenta con asiago e ricotta al forno . Ma neanche mia nonna cucinava così bene ! Esperienza da 110 e lode anche nel Prezzo Bere il vino in scodella da tradizione piacentina è stato veramente cute 😎 Grazie !

07/04/2025: Friendly and welcoming staff, good food, simple venue, excellent live music
05/04/2025: Very large room, with lots of seating and a pool table. They also have evenings with live music. Very good burger and super fries! There is a lot of variety and all burgers can be made vegetarian by adding €1 I also had a very good beer. Advised! The only flaw: the music before the live show was a little loud and it was difficult to hear the various members of the table.
