So, let's start with the positives: a simple atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food. The biggest issue is the portion sizes compared to the prices. In a location as unpretentious as a tennis club bar (and rightly so), if you set the price for squid alla diavola (delicious) at €25, you can't afford to pay just one squid (squid is certainly not expensive). The same goes for the grilled octopus: the sauces are delicious, and the octopus is good, but a tiny little tentacle costs €18. In my opinion, the price/quantity ratio needs to be rebalanced. Let me be clear, I say this with affection, but it just won't do. It doesn't take much to rebalance everything!

We had dinner here on the advice of acquaintances and we were absolutely happy. Tables overlooking the fields and delicious dishes but the plus of the place is certainly Massimo with his friendliness and availability that makes the evening even more enjoyable. Recommended place

.....We are on Elba for the Rally which is already something exclusive and a pleasure to have the opportunity to be present in this Tuscan paradise!!! Impossible not to pass by the Tessis tavern in Portoferraio: Massimo n.1!! Indescribable as an experience and impossible not to pass by here.......
