We stayed 16 August 2024, the place is very quiet and the food is excellent, Alessandro is very kind and polite. Quality/price worth returning.

Tucked away on the side slope of the hill, yet just a few steps from Piazza San Lorenzo. This restaurant is a gem, traditional Viterbo cuisine of the highest quality and good, friendly service. A must when in Viterbo.

Don't be influenced by the name of the place. This is not a common tavern with a forcibly original name. Whoever welcomed us was a real innkeeper, who opened up a world to us: that of a family-run tavern with cuisine based on local products. For us it was a pleasure to listen to Alessandro, from whose words exuded not only passion for what he does (and has set up together with his wife and his children), but also a real gastronomic narration on each course of the selected menu based of typical products from Viterbo and Lazio. We were more than satisfied with the quality-price ratio and the authenticity. We were saying, in the name of the place, that "lost time" actually turns into time found... to be used for dialogue, listening... even tasting, without distractions such as Wi-Fi or television. Yes, because the Osteria is located far from the center and urban noise, where quiet reigns supreme and the innkeeper Alessandro will be able to come to the aid of those who still enjoy sharing.

Perfect dinner!!!! Typical local dishes of excellence. Impeccable and attentive service. An excellent place for those looking for a quality dinner in a welcoming and relaxing environment. The best tavern I've ever found. I can guarantee that my friends and I had a good time and will definitely return.....

Simpaticissimo l’oste che ci ha deliziato con la narrazione della scelta del suo menù in modo garbato e ironico. Menù ottimo ! Prezzo onesto! Da provare

Ristorante scelto seguendo le valutazioni di Tripadvisor. Appena arrivati ci accoglie Alessandro che subito ci fa sentire come se fossimo arrivati a casa di un amico, ci ha poi spiegato il menù aggiungendo chicche e dettagli molto simpatici. Abbiamo iniziato con due primi, una Papalina ed uno spaghetto alla Proietti ( si proprio Gigi Proietti, la ricetta è sua!) serviti dentro a delle padelle, ottimi entrambi. Proseguendo abbiamo preso una grigliata mista e un panunto (salsicce e pancetta con pane/unto ), patate al forno come contorno, anche per i secondi livello ottimo sia di prodotti che di esecuzione. Il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino rosso della casa. Per finire una mousse ai frutti di bosco che era qualcosa di spettacolare! Poi Alessandro ci ha fatto assaggiare degli amari alla castagna ed alla nocciola, entrambe buonissimi, ma quello alla nocciola top! Se passate per Viterbo sarebbe un peccato perdere queste delizie, consigliatissimo.
