A refined and quiet place in the center of Cortona. Impeccable service, excellent food, and a huge wine selection with fair markups. Make a reservation or you won't be seated. The price is a bit high, but fair for the excellent quality. Highly recommended.

After a few years, I returned to this place, which is very dear to me. It feels like I've stepped back in time. I found both the atmosphere and the food excellent. The best pigeon I've ever eaten here was truly delicious!

Estaba sentado en el jardín, donde podía ver a los camareros corriendo de arriba abajo en la calle desde el restaurante principal de abajo. Mi mesa estaba rodeada de rosas y la comida era, bueno, simplemente excelente! La pintada fue cocinada por un dios y rellenada por un ángel, el vino era néctar toscano! En una noche ardiente, prefiero estar aquí que en las entrañas santificadas del restaurante. ¡Volveré!

Fantástica comida en el mejor restaurante que hemos encontrado en Italia. Para el almuerzo, tuvimos entrantes, pasta y postre. Todo tan bueno, hermoso cocinado. El servicio fue muy profesional y amable. Su vino blanco recomendado Maremma era genial y solo 23 euros / botella. Disfrutamos de nuestra suerte en tener una mesa en la fresca terraza de este impresionante edificio centenario en medio de la hermosa Cortona.

17/10/2025: This restaurant lives up to its name, with a very family-friendly atmosphere. The menu includes three starters, three main courses, and desserts still available. Everything was delicious: penne alla boscaiola, pork steak, and delicious desserts. A must-try experience!
