"Osteria" is truly an understatement for this place. It feels like stepping back in time once you enter the dining room. The staff are highly qualified and friendly, and the food is excellent, a cut above the average osteria in both quality and ingredients. The recipes, though traditional, are crafted with care, using spices and herbs that make the dishes unique. The Florentine steak melted in your mouth, the desserts were excellent, an explosion of flavor, beautiful and delicious. The wine cellar is well-stocked, and I even found the price to be reasonable. More than just a meal, it was an experience.

Truffle fondue, 10/10. Pici with ragù, 10/10. Gluten-free tagliatelle with ragù, 10/10. Fillet with Colonnata lard with Syrah and plum sauce, 10/10. 375 ml bottle of wine, a rarity, 10/10. And that says it all. Excellent atmosphere, service, and bill.

Everything excellent and perfect, one of the best restaurants where I have ever eaten, a lot of care has been taken in the preparation of the refined and excellent dishes, in the presentation and the environment is very welcoming and well-kept, we felt welcomed in a very beautiful place in the heart of Cortona which is equally beautiful

All dishes are great. They are slow in bringing each dish out. May want to enjoy their book thick wine list instead. Excellent price and quality ingredients. I had the followings: 1. Tortelloni Ricotta e Spinaci w/ grated truffle. 2. Baccalà - lightly battered skin on with celery sauce, topped orange zest. 3. Charlotte al Mascarpone - innovated way. 4. House glass of local Sauvignon Blanc.

Good evening, I'd like to praise the food and its preparation, which I enjoyed—even visually—last Tuesday at Osteria del Teatro. For my first course, I chose pici with fresh porcini mushrooms, which I savoured so as not to finish them quickly, as they were so delicious. Then I had the mascarpone charlotte with chocolate drizzle: heavenly!!! The atmosphere is relaxed and refined. The quality-price ratio is excellent. I'd like to thank Giacomo, the waiter who helped me choose my dishes and proved to be very knowledgeable and kind. I highly recommend this place.

Ristorante nel centro di Cortona , posto retro molto caratteristico , mangiare ottimo dall’antipasto al dolce , proprietari e staff ottimi , all’altezza e professionali ma cosa ancora più importante ospitali e di compagnia.

Cena in coppia. Prendiamo 2 antipasti, un primo e 2 calici, prezzo giusto per il posto. I piatti non ci sono piaciuti troppo, forse un po’ troppo ricercati per l’utente medio (come noi!).

03/08/2025: Excellent appetizers, good wine list. We had a Florentine steak, which was good, with excellent quality meat. It's a shame that it was a little overcooked in some places.
31/07/2025: Homemade and very, very good food, just like grandma's! Few seats, so maximum customer attention and short waits between courses. Great attention to gluten-free options: the entire menu was easily and seamlessly converted to gluten-free options. We'll definitely be back.

28/08/2025: What can I say… La Buca da Annalisa Il Cerro da Alfredo A confirmation day after day, experience after experience… Because that's exactly how it is… knocking on the door of someone who always cooks, who knows how to welcome you and make you feel at home without being intrusive. Heartfelt places where simple dishes blend together and become part of the emotions of the evening you want to experience… This evening at Certo it started to rain, and the tagliata was even more fragrant… like at Annalisa, where if you watch the lightning with a glass of red, the evening takes on a different flavor. The full escapes…
