A true gem in Melegnano. Everything was so tasty, and the service was great. I will defiantly treat myself again and explore more options from their menu.

I was amazed by the second course of meat...black angus Argentina!!!! Truly a spectacle!! I'll be back as soon as I can!

Siamo stati ospiti in questo ristorante in occasione del pranzo di Natale. Locale caratteristico, tranquillo, molto accogliente, pulito e curato nei minimi dettagli. Personale attento, preparato, gentile e veloce. Piatti curati e ben cucinati con ingredienti sicuramente di prima scelta che non appesantiscono. Tutto delizioso. Ampia scelta di vini di qualità. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consigliatissimo

Historic place in Melegnano, it's worth it!!! Courteous and professional staff, quality food!

In the center of Melegnano, a few steps from the castle, there is this lovely restaurant. I found the Piacenza cured meats “Bignami”, 24-month raw ham from Langhirano, fried gnocco, selection of mountain cheeses “Malga Bassa” and Lodigiani “Carena”, jam, jam. of homemade onions, walnuts. The beef and veal mondeghili with sage chips and Dijon mustard mayonnaise are good but the risotto, Jerusalem artichoke cream, pan-fried porcini mushrooms, chestnut and almond crumble are very good. Friendly staff, excellent wine list. Advised.

Tornato in questo locale dopo circa cinque anni, per la terza volta. Alla fine confermo l’impressione avuta le prime due volte: alti e bassi. Siamo andati per la rassegna tradizione lodigiana + menù zucca/castagne. Pessimo inizio con attesa di cinquanta minuti dopo gli antipasti per avere i primi (almeno si sono scusati). Nell’ordine: ottima zuppa di castagne al profumo di rosmarino, mediocre mini tagliere di formaggi, mediocri mondeghili, mediocre riso ai funghi, mediocre arrosto, veramente ottimo riso giallo con ossobuco, immangiabili tortelli con ripieno di cinghiale (pasta cruda e dura - ripieno pessimo con sapore stantio - lasciato tutto nel dubbio di stare poi male - di fronte al piatto quasi intatto nemmeno una domanda), mediocre torta gianduia, discreta sbrisolona, buona salsa zabaione, buono il pane e la focaccia, buon il calice di vino. Rapporto qualità prezzo non eccezionale. Servizio in sala buono per i ragazzi, mentre il proprietario, per la cordialità e l’entusiasmo che trasmette, sarebbe meglio stesse alla cassa e basta. Ciao tornerei ? Sì, ma solo per il piatto unico di riso giallo e ossobuco con un buon calice di rosso e per il pane e la focaccia.
