Our BnB recommended this restaurant, and it had delicious food and fantastic service. Drank a lovely brunello followed by limoncello. Everything we tried was delicious: bread salad, house appetizer, lamb, steak, tortellini and the pasta with tomato sauce and cheese. Nice ambiance and lots of cold water. Highly recommend!

This restaurant was awesome! It was very clean, classic, and the food was delicious! Staff was also very nice. We ordered pasta, steak, and salad, but the best was the pasta. Delicious with wild pigs meat, I absolutely loved this restaurant.

Excellent place to eat authentic Tuscan cuisine and a delicious Florentine steak. Located right in the city center, next to the famous Porcellino Fountain. The owner and his partner, Gennaro, are wonderful and very welcoming.

The food was good, served in sufficient quantities. The prices were relatively reasonable. The service was fast.

We visited Osteria del Porcellino during our visit to Florence and can't say enough good things about it! The restaurant is well-kept, traditional, and welcoming. We ate wonderfully, from a generous appetizer to the exceptional Florentine steak. A family-style welcome, excellent service, and quality food. Compliments to Vincenzo and the entire staff!

We always come back with great pleasure, both for the excellent food and the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. Enzo, the owner, is a warm and welcoming person who makes you feel at home! I highly recommend it.

A wonderful location near the famous Porcellino Market with extremely friendly staff. Traditional Tuscan dishes, even in the heat, were surprised by a spectacular trio of tripe salads, although it's famous for its Florentine steak. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Cenamos en Osteria del Porcellino y disfrutamos de una experiencia mixta. Lo más destacado fue definitivamente la salsa de peras y nueces pecorino tortellini, un plato único y delicioso que se destacó por su sabor y creatividad. La lasaña, por otro lado, estaba bien, nada particularmente memorable. Los postres fueron donde la comida realmente brilló. Probamos el tiramisú, el zuccotto, el panna cotta y el pastel del abuelo, y cada uno de ellos era excelente —rico, bien equilibrado y claramente hecho con cuidado. La única desventaja era el ambiente durante el servicio de cena. Si bien el entorno es generalmente encantador, nuestra experiencia se vio interrumpida por un flujo constante de comerciantes que arrastraban grandes contenedores de basura, como contenedores a través del callejón justo detrás de nuestra mesa. Fue un poco distraído y alejado de la atmósfera por lo demás agradable. En general, Osteria del Porcellino merece una visita, especialmente de postre y que destacan los tortellini — pero ten en cuenta que la experiencia gastronómica al aire libre puede ser un poco golpeado o fallado dependiendo de la hora del día y la actividad circundante

Wir bekamen die Osteria von unserem italienischen Reiseorganisator und seinem Team empfohlen und waren nach dem Essen begeistert. Vorspeisenseitig entschieden wir uns für die Melone, meine Frau mit Feta, ich mit Schinken. Beides sehr 😋 da wir ja Feta und Schinken auf dem Tisch hatten, tauschte ich eine Scheibe Schinken gegen ein paar Fetawürfel , Geschmacksexplosion! Nur zu empfehlen! Als Hauptgang für den Herren leckere Lammkotletts und für die Dame die beste Lasagne ihres Lebens 😇das Tiramizu zum Schluss konnte nur geteilt werden, da einfach nur satt!
