It was recommended to us by a well-known artisan on Via dei Calzaiuoli, and I must say it was an exceptional discovery!
We're on vacation in Florence and don't know when we'll be back, but one thing is certain: eating here was a memorable experience.
The Florentine steak, strictly for two to share, was simply spectacular: perfectly rare, tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection.
It was all accompanied by the house Chianti, excellent and perfectly paired with the meat.
The desserts were a fitting end to an unforgettable dinner: tiramisu and zuccotto fiorentino were truly extraordinary.
Impeccable service, with extremely kind, attentive, and professional staff.
Highly recommended, and we hope to return soon!

Lovely place, excellent food, very knowledgeable staff, and top-notch cuisine. The pasta e fagioli (pasta and beans) are a must-try!

We stopped for lunch during a short stop in Florence. We were lucky we didn't know the place, but we'll definitely be back when we return to Florence. The ribollita, ossobuco, and tagliolini with truffle were excellent. The atmosphere was welcoming and good value. Highly recommended.

Very good food, enjoyed the experience … but it was the first time I’ve basically been asked to vacate the table after finishing our meal. I travel to Florence 4-6 times a year and this is one of the aspects of Italian culture I appreciate vs. other places … the table is yours. I won’t be back here.

Had to do it. Bistecca alla Fiorentina 🥩
This thing was about 4 fingers thick and came out perfectly charred on the outside, ruby red in the middle. Just salt, pepper, and a drizzle of olive oil—that's it.
Definitely up there in the best steak ever category.
