We chose this place, away from the chaos, to experience the true Tuscan cuisine and atmosphere. I have to say, better inside than out...in terms of atmosphere. The cuisine is well-prepared, and we found the flavors we were looking for in the dishes we chose: mixed crostini, potato tortelli with Cinta Senese ragù. I found the service particularly cold from the young group of waiters...not a word, not a chat, not a smile... True Tuscans are chatty and make you laugh...coldness...

Good bruschetta and Florentine steak

Incredible experience at this brother and sister owned restaurant! Pasta was phenomenal, and this was one of the best meals my fiancé and I had in all of Italy! You can not go wrong with anything you order here.

The staff was discreet but very responsive to our requests. We had an exceptional porcini mushroom risotto.

There's nothing to complain about with the quality of the food at this typical Florentine osteria. The first and second courses are well-made and all delicious. However, I would have a few complaints about the wine list, especially the one I chose. You can't charge €14 for a 0.375 bottle of white wine while pretending it's a half-liter. It's a shame, because it's a top-notch osteria.

Maria and the team treated us like family from the moment we walked in for my 50th bday... Food and wine were perfection. A must go and can't wait to go back!

I had an exceptionally executed tagliolini with fresh truffle and bottle of Brunello here. My husband enjoyed his pappardelle with ragu as well. Simple and delicious - one of the best meals of the trip.

Questa osteria caratteristica al centro di Firenze mi era stata raccomandata da una mia amica. Mi ha voluto portare sabato sera per degustare buone pietanze e del buon vino. Appena arrivato ho notato subito fotografie di personaggi famosi che frequentano regolarmente questo locale. Qualità del cibo superlativa: per iniziare calici di benvenuto e antipasto variegato con tagliere di salumi, caprese e fegatini con crostini. A seguire tagliata di carne di ottima qualità accompagnata da vino di valore, contorni vari, amaro e caffè. Vincenzo e Maria padroni di casa eccezionali e splendidi . La loro gentilezza e simpatia mi ha fatto sentire come a casa. Ritornerò sicuramente a cena solo qui a Firenze per godermi una serata al centro di una delle città più belle del mondo. Stefano

Cenamos en Osteria del Porcellino y disfrutamos de una experiencia mixta. Lo más destacado fue definitivamente la salsa de peras y nueces pecorino tortellini, un plato único y delicioso que se destacó por su sabor y creatividad. La lasaña, por otro lado, estaba bien, nada particularmente memorable. Los postres fueron donde la comida realmente brilló. Probamos el tiramisú, el zuccotto, el panna cotta y el pastel del abuelo, y cada uno de ellos era excelente —rico, bien equilibrado y claramente hecho con cuidado. La única desventaja era el ambiente durante el servicio de cena. Si bien el entorno es generalmente encantador, nuestra experiencia se vio interrumpida por un flujo constante de comerciantes que arrastraban grandes contenedores de basura, como contenedores a través del callejón justo detrás de nuestra mesa. Fue un poco distraído y alejado de la atmósfera por lo demás agradable. En general, Osteria del Porcellino merece una visita, especialmente de postre y que destacan los tortellini — pero ten en cuenta que la experiencia gastronómica al aire libre puede ser un poco golpeado o fallado dependiendo de la hora del día y la actividad circundante
