07/12/2025: You can't miss this typical restaurant in Grottaferrata at least once. Despite having expanded from the original restaurant (hence the name), it has maintained the characteristic and quality of its locally sourced food over time. Alessandro, his sister, and all the other staff at this restaurant are professional and friendly. Their mixed antipasto is highly recommended. You'll have the opportunity to taste various dishes, including, but not limited to, tripe, beans with pork rind, prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella, fresh ricotta with truffle, and more. If you don't like some of the appetizers, no problem; they'll bring you something else based on availability. Fabulous first courses, homemade pasta with a variety of sauces. Various meat-based second courses, grilled and otherwise. A selection of reasonably priced wines. Desserts, always locally sourced or homemade, are excellent. We'll definitely return.
