Regarding the food, nothing to complain about; the quality was good. The service wasn't fast; it's true that there were quite a few people there, but for the price, we expected something quicker. I didn't appreciate the plastic placemats (?) instead of a proper cloth tablecloth. When paying, we saw that other customers were offered liqueurs; I think it's unfortunate that we, unlike the other customers, weren't treated the same way (they're friendly, and we weren't part of it? Thanks!). I'll add that I absolutely don't appreciate how it's becoming a habit in restaurants to verbally offer off-menu items without immediately adding the price, which often turns out to be an unexpected and disproportionate charge when it comes to the bill. What's the problem with offering this, stating the price, or, better yet, preparing sheets of paper to insert into the written menu? Finally, the prominent sign that "no separate bills" is not only inelegant, but also out of place. I know that restaurateurs are required to do so by requesting it. Not long ago, I asked a lawyer friend who confirmed this. If the rules haven't been changed recently, I'd advise them to refrain from displaying it out of respect for the law. As mentioned, we ate well, but I'm wondering if the price, far from cheap, is really worth it.

Quiet place, helpful owner, kind and always ready to explain the dishes. Excellent food. Suitable for both couples and small groups. Good price. Obviously not a trattoria given the quality of the products and the workmanship. The desserts are also excellent.
