Informal place in the center of Bassano where you can taste traditional dishes, but with particular care in the selection of ingredients and related combinations. It's difficult to find a dish that doesn't excel. Added to this is the always warm hospitality of its owner and his staff. In addition to food, it is possible to taste and purchase their special and self-produced Li-cuore, bitters and grappas.

We decided to come here because it was the only one available as we hadn't booked. We had a great time. The owner of the place is very nice and friendly. Excellent service and the place is well furnished. As for the food, nothing to say as, in my case, the bigoli with duck were cooked to perfection and the tiramisu was fantastic. Prices in line for the quality offered. Absolutely recommended.

A very pleasant and satisfying dining experience! Arriving by chance at this restaurant with my husband, we were warmly welcomed in a pleasant and well-furnished environment. Informal atmosphere and excellent service: the owner showed us the local dishes and wines. Excellent starters and first courses
winter (potato gnocchi with liver sauce and blue cheese and bigoli with duck sauce). We finished with 2 very tasty homemade desserts. I highly recommend it for the excellent food and the warm and very professional environment at the same time!

The tavern where you can pamper yourself for Sunday lunch.
Piero is the host you would like to meet: a mix of kind hospitality and refined professionalism.
The menu is well thought out, curated and reflects seasonal ingredients.
Despite the unlucky year for the white truffle of Alba, Piero is keen to propose it as an addition to the menu to remain faithful to the tradition of his tavern (the Fassona tartare with white truffle is divine).
The creamed cod is made to perfection.
We decide to take the pumpkin, pomegranate and liquorice risotto, which gives us a harmonious embrace for the palate - the bottle of arneis from Piero's selection is the icing on the cake.
We decide to end on a sweet note with polenta cannoli and hazelnut ice cream, delighted by the taste and pleasantly surprised by the portions.
A final chat with Piero who delights us with a couple of carefully selected artisanal bitters.
An unforgettable experience.
