The restaurant was very busy and we were lucky to get a table early in the evening. The food was great, the prices were absolutely reasonable and we give it 5 stars!

One evening in October, being in Seccheto, I had dinner at Osteria del Nonno, the place was full and I struggled to find a seat. I chose a pear and gorgonzola pizza which I found good, the only flaw was that it was partly burnt underneath. I drank a good beer. The service was quick and kind. The typical pizzeria environment.

В центре небольшой деревни! Были на обед, заказывали Рыбу меч на гриле и морскую пасту, все очень вкусно! Брали и местное вино, достаточно приятное на вкус!

Excellent restaurant in the small and beautiful town of Seccheto. We ate at this restaurant several times during our holiday. Friendly staff, attentive and fast service. Excellent "fish of the day", the chips are absolutely recommended! Also very good pizza to try! Don't miss the dessert either.

27/10/2024: Simply great! The service was really good, really tried hard, very professional and the dogs were also warmly welcomed with fresh water. The pizza was really big, fresh and super tasty! The best pizza we have eaten in Italy so far. The salad was also really tasty, crunchy and fresh. Prices absolutely fine and reasonable! Thank you!

18/11/2024: Delicious food, friendly and attentive waiters with the typical Italian charm, that's what you can endure on vacation. We chose La Vecchia Senese for dinner three times during our stay in Livorno in October 2024. Outside you sit in a covered area that is used by pedestrians. We really liked it - right in the middle of it all. The prices were in the middle price segment. Top price-performance ratio.
11/11/2024: We tried this restaurant for dinner, but decided to try pasta instead of pizza. It was a Saturday night and even if the restaurant is big, it was very crowded, with lots of tables very close to each other and brightly lit by neon lights. The decor is completed by fake doors and windows. Not cosy. Service was extremely fast but friendly enough, we could barely finish our pasta before we got the dessert menu. Quality average, prices low.
